I use lunch paper bags to make popcorn but I only have 1 left. There are vids that show the paper bag method. I thought of doing bowl method if I had one in the kitchen but now I change my mind after reading your comment.

they're at the dollar store but another alternative is a pot on the stove but it's harder.

It's clear plastic

You can make in paper bag without any oil, butter or salt. Add 1 Tblspoon corn kernels in bag. Fold over open bag at open end, 1 inch then another inch. Lay flat in microve. Use popcorn option. No flavor of salt or butter, but this is alternate, clean eating.

I think a tip I also read was to hear the oil & butter a bit first, then add the popcorn. Helps get all the kernels. I haven’t tried it yet.

Glass bowl is the best coz of the high heat. A plastic one might just melt😬

Can you also do it without the butter? And do you need a plate on top of it as well?

I actually used margarine. It enhances the taste. Also, the plate is to avoid the mess that comes with popping the popcorn.

Using a paperbag is much more safe and takes like 3 min instead of 5 min
