So lucky that you got to check these knives out in person its very rare for a store to carry these. I had just decided on the ultratech over the utx85 and now u put me in another dilemma

I have a Scarab from 2005. Very cool, but a purpose built tool. It is a dagger.

@NJMevec2 No, but it would be very very difficult to have it come out without trying. The actuator switch takes some serious pressure. My wife and kids really struggle opening the knife.

Thats not a carbide glass breaker, its a ball bearing

the ultratech is made to be able to handle really serious stuff i doubt microtech would let that change just because its a smaller version

That Kershaw knife is the Scallion according to my research. You also do not want to place your Microtech Scarab on a flat surface with the domed tri-wing screws face down. It will flatten the screw points and cause them to become lose over time... and all us Microtech owners know...it's not easy finding the correct bit to fix those unique, yet IRRITATING, screws.

Whats the issue with that? Once i turn 21 ill be carrying a pistol with me 24/7 including church.

+Simon James because I want to be able to open my pocket knife with one hand while I have my bible and hymnal in my lap flipping pages with the other hand. Switchblade. What a 1950's era word.

Shhh u arent supposed to tell u carry a knife to church at least i domt tell people plus in some places thats illegal.
