Does the People App sync the contacts you have in Outlook 365 to Teams? I have read that synchronization is not bidirectional. They only sync from Outlook to Teams, but not from Teams to Outlook. In my case they do not synchronize in any direction. Thank you.

All data syncs from Active Directory, as far as I know.

Excellent tutorial. One question: When you create a Plan from scratch, but during creation you do not link it to any existing 365 group, is it possible to link it later? Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback. What you describe is not possible. The plan is always part of some M365 Group. Though it says "optional," if you do not link to the existing Group upon Plan creation - it will create a new M365 Group. At that point, it is permanently linked to that new group created and cannot be associated with any other existing group.

Hello Gregory. I have some doubts about notes in Teams. When taking notes in a meeting in Teams, are the notes private or can anyone in the meeting see them? How can I later access those notes? Is it possible from OneNote? Are they quick notes? Thank you.

Notes are accessible to everyone who is part of the Team/M365 Group.

I and two colleagues are in constant contact and share documents with several external companies. It would be great to have a team in which we share our information with all of them, but create private channels in which they share theirs with us. However, we are interested in ensuring that each of those companies that collaborate with us does not know which other companies we work with. The issue of access to the documentation that they provide to us would be solved with private channels in which when selecting who participates the rest would not have access, but since they are all members of the main team to be able to have access to what we share (with all of them ) know the rest of the team's components... Is there a way they can't see (being guests and not owners) what other guests are on the team? If this could be configured like this...would sharepoint inherit these permissions? Thank you!!!

As far as I know, this is not possible with private channels. However, this is a perfect use case for Shared Channels.

When you create a team in Teams, a group is created in Outlook. But it doesn't appear immediately, right? I look for it in the group manager in Outlook and I can't find it. How can I locate the group in Outlook?

I can mark it as a Favorite, but I can't find it in the Groups section.

Correct. It is hidden by default in this scenario and you have to run PowerShell to expose it
