Is there a way of forcing attendees who join via the attendee link to enter information? It kinda makes the whole process redundant if everyone is just called ‘anonymous’ doesn’t it? There should be some way to match the live event participants to those who signed up.

This is a good question. I am not aware of anyway of turning this off currently. I have seen there is a user voice with this request but no action on it as of this moment microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/37420813-requests-regarding-the-q-a-pane-in-teams-live-even

Which version of ms team ? Live event option not appear in mas team installed in my desktop version 1.4.00.22472[64 bit]

Hello, how can I send out an invitation calendar (Outlook) with this teams live event, so people can save it in their calendar? When I create a meeting and add the link in the body of the email I get an error that says “the invite cannot be sent because Teams meeting details in the body are different from this meeting. Would you like us to fix the meeting invite?” I click on “yes” and then I get a new error that says “Sorry we cannot fix this meeting invite. Please create a new meeting and add Teams meeting to it.” Thanks in advance for the help.

I am trying to schedule a teams live event but when i click on schedule button, it prompts with error "An Error Occurred".

Harry, when our presenters share a screen it immediately overlays what is currently in the LIVE window. In the past I was able to move presentations and or presenters to the Que and then to Live. I'm desperate to find an answer... Can you help?

Hi Julie, Great question. Apologies for the slow response I was moving house. Unfortunately this is now not a feature. I will continue to see if I can find anymore information on it however. If I post a question as anonymous in Q&A, would the producer be able to see the identity of who posted the question or does it show anonymous to the producer ?

Would I do the same thing for having a virtual graduation?

Hi Ken, I think it depends on how you are expecting to run the virtual graduation. For example if you are expecting all the students graduating to go on video then this would not work. If you have a few presenters with structured content and wants lots of people to join online this maybe the way to go.

Should have done a live event to demonstrate how to use live event 😎
