I've had the Surface Pro 7 for 3 years. That stand is still sturdy. Overall, it's a sturdy device.

Had the first ever Surface pro and after 10 years it finally crapped out on me. Looking for a new one and this 9 month review is great. Thank you.

I bought the i3 version its better than I thought it would be. It has replaced my older i7 laptop as my personal computer. I like the Surface port. It is a data port as well not just power. It's magnetic and makes this one of a few tablets you can charge and still have access to the USB - c port. I use the Surface dock which is pricey but really nice. Imo install updates weekly to avoid the issues you had. Great review glad you like yours.

I ordered the I3 version I have some programs that will need every performance advantage and the go is slim enough to go into my tool bag for work which is where I'll be putting this to use, I'll post my thoughts once I've had some screen time.

Update: I'm writing this on the go 3 it is exactly what I was expecting. I run fusion 360 and the constructor 15 at my work and it runs them both smoothly glad I got the i3 version highly recommend it, the tablet runs slow before it has all the updates installed so don't judge it until it has if you get one.

@@isaaclowe7212 tysm! I am on for buying it i guess. But the only thing is that it has just 1080p resolution and I wanted atleast 2k if not 4k. Can it run 4k videos on youtube and movies with noticeable differences? And few questions more: How is gaming on it? Does it heat? How long have you used? How many maximum tabs it can open in browser. Does it run chrome smoothly. I have more than 50 tabs opened in my 4 years old lenovo laptop lol and it runs great.

It can run 4k 1: Cloud gaming is much better other wise it is slow. 2: Yes if you game or work on it for I long time. 3: 50 tabs should be fine.

Good video J Williams! I also don't use the physical keyboard. I use touch with Windows 11 almost exclusively. Yes, the New Outlook is a little hard to work with, but even with that (over the old Modern Mail app), I'm using it with touch exclusively with no major troubles. Thanks for your video.

I also ordered the HP X Windows Tablet 10inch. Not sure what my final purchase will be. Do you know if this device will do Power BI and Tableau?

I have had a Surface Pro 3 for 6 years. It's kickstand still works strong. It has got Linux on it before I gift it to my nephew who is still using it for Uni after 9+ years. Surface Pro 3 impressed so much that my missus got a Surface Pro 6 and I got a refurbished Surface Pro 7+ last year.

Had also some issues with windows 11. I programmed an AI and needed to handle over 100k images. The explorer hang way to often and loaded somtimes several minutes. Also i had the windows update bug. After those issues I installed fedora and had no issues and just works perfectly fine, besides the cameras (I don't really need). While the concept and the actual product is pretty nice, windows 11 sucks^^ I also gone for the pentium version, cause the I3 doesn't provide that much more convenience

Quick question for people more versed in tech than I. I am looking to replace a Gen 1 Toshiba Thinkpad that my employer sent me for work. My work is not very computer intensive, I work with Microsoft Excel, and Word most days. We also use Chrome for our ordering platform, which also has a mobile app available for tablets and phones. I like the idea of the Surface Go 3 for the flexibility of a tablet and the ability to run a mouse and keyboard as most of my work is done on the go at customer locations. Will this tablet be more than adequate for my needs? I want to get away from the Toshiba since it’s an older model that seems to have been put through the wringer from multiple representatives through the years. I am a sales representative so note taking has been something I been relying on pen and paper for the past few years. I seen the note taking aspect of this tablet and really liked the idea that I can hopefully toss the notebook for good. I just wanted to make informed purchase, but can’t find the definitive answer I’m looking for.

Yes, but unlike J Williams did here, I'd recommend the 8GB RAM model with M3 processor for the Surface Go 3 or look at what MS released in March and will release in May of 2024.

Would be perfect as a side computer. Its a more capable tablet. Its not powerful but doesn't need to to be. I use a surfacebook 2 as my main computer still. My old Imac as a monitor. A surface duo 1. My windows tablet is a old surface 3 that just for browsing the web and media consumption really this would fit right into my Budget Tech lifestyle.

Would you say this is a good product for a student? I just need something that's obviously portable and can connect to my monitor when at home and can do the bare minimum of work on website or apps like canvas and maybe have a few tabs and apps open. Might also use it to have apps like discord In background when playing on my xbox
