My only complaint about the screen on Surface is that it's too glossy. Apple (in all iPads except the cheap ones and many MacBooks) and Lenovo (in ThinkPad X12 Detachable for example) have much better antireflective finishes or coatings so you see the screen easier. That tech I saw in Sony Vaio like 10 years ago already and even back in the CRT days, you see when the screen reflects a bit purple to red it makes a huge difference when compared to normal screens. Hope Microsoft (and Samsung as well) use this, it's a detail and should not cost a lot to just do that coating I'd say.

@@alyssa98846 I tried a matte protector on an old iPad (when they had no laminated display) but they don't really help as much as the purple/red finish. It's just diffused but it makes the display darker and less crisp and touch is also less responsive. I took it off after a week or so and never tried again. There are also coloured films but they change the way the display looks and make it also even darker. Don't know if these Paperlike films are better. I don't want full matte, that is not sharp and colours look dull.

Surely the whole point of these devices are that you can draw/write on them straight into MS apps. No one in their right mind would buy a windows OS device for anything other than that, I've even seen some reviewers try to run Adobe PS on a Go, I mean wtf?? Missing the point entirely. I have a Go 2 for taking electronic meeting notes for work, and working on freehand additions to .ppt files, nothing more. I have a cheapo Galaxy Tab to watch TV and open multiple tabs on, and a properly specced laptop for everything else workwise. For everything else home wise a desktop PC capable of running Adobe, Roon Core, blah blah. What have I missed?

skipped past and missed a few basics like you only mentioned what ports the pro has then talked about headphone jacks rather than saying what ports the Go has. Also on screens size you did not actually mention the size of screens which felt odd. Nice reviews overall though. more helpful than many out there

My model did get scratched up and because of that, some parts might look white. This also happens in the silver model but on that one it's a lot less noticeable.

They sound similar

The pro has no sense. Too heavy to be a tablet. Too small to be a laptop. Instead of mixing qualities of both, it's mixing disadvantages of both The go is good extra to have super portable working environment (not heavy to have in your backpack all day long or on your legs/hands to watch Netflix). But it's very low performances... Despite of that, I use it since years in top of my desktop

Pro is too big for my bag 😂

Intel gen 12th on pro 9 is a big win. So, comparing both is pretty much irrelevant. Cuz, they are in different class. As if you re comparing PC desktop from 2010 to recent laptop gaming.
