Thank you, Virgillio, and I'm glad you enjoyed the show. I have enjoyed using all four of these new (2022) Micro Finesse lures. Each is unique, and add new options for panfish angling. The bonus is that Bass love little morsels, too. I doubt there are any real larvae crawling around in this cold water yet, but the fish sure loved them. Best wishes. Don

This is really the “Rootie Tootsie Show”! He is such a sweet beautiful boy! Yup, does has wings! 🥰. WOW the little Micro Finesse Larvaz are just awesome!! Doesn’t matter what kind of fish sees them, they are a winner. Lots of nice big bass. I noticed someone mentioned in your comments these little Larvaz for trout….my thoughts too in the Glow Pink! Thanks Sis. This combo of moving to West Central and having "access" hahaha 😆 😂 to these fishing spots is very exciting so far. Hope it never gets old! Rudie Tootie loves doing tricks and is quite the Cutsey Wootsey little fat buddy...as you saw Wednesday. Speaking of little - remember that crazy small bluegill jig I made last year? The QR (Quantum Realm) TootieZ worked like a champ and filled the freezer with big bluegill! I didn't think of using pink though. 😆 I think you will like Part 2 with the pink glow LarvaZ too. Thanks, Bill. I finally got around to testing the new LarvaZ... perfect time of the year 🙌 😅 🙃. Crazy little things surprised me! I changed colors, and the 2d upcoming video shows the Pink Glow color works great, too. Prospects for 2023 are looking really good. Stay safe out there in the icebergs. Don

Thanks, Big L. Those little jigs had an excellent hook up and land ratio... surprised me because they are so tiny. The fall rate on the bouyant LarvaZ was perfect. Yes, every bluegill that nibbled/slurped got caught. I'll show some keeper sized bluegill in Part 2 on a pink LarvaZ. Needle nosed pliers were a must! This is a real learning experience for an old angler! Best wishes, Don

A Trout Magnet head (1/32 oz shad dart, basically) also works with the tiny Larvaz bodies.

Thanks for the tip, BA, much appreciated. When Z-man named these tiny lures "micro" they weren't kidding. Last year I made what I called a Quantum Realm (QR TootieZ 😆 😂) and used other tiny hooks. Worked great, too. Best wishes, Don

Thanks, Greg. You guys have a lot more ice than we do here in West Central MO, for sure. We had another ice-over on the small waters the week before, but it melted with the weekend warm front. These LarvaZ are buoyant and might work great on a micro dropshot, too. I couldn't tell if the fish grabbed it on the fall or picked it up from the bottom; typical no-feel fishing. Thanks so much, Jeff. We are having fish tacos for the Super Bowl from crappie and bluegill caught on this trip (Part 2 of this adventure). I was skeptical of the LarvaZ tiny size, so I didn't buy any till recently. However, I stumbled upon a couple of vids that talked them up but didn't show any actual fish.... so I got the wild idea to do my Show and Tell thing. It was a pleasant surprise to see how well the Green Pumpkin (and upcoming Pink Glow color) enticed the fish. As a Missouri Show-Me guy, I was definitely showed that they worked in cold water while there's likely no real larvae crawling around. It was impressive, and I learned a lot. Rudie is a show off, hahaha, and fingers are crossed for the Chiefs this Sunday. Best wishes, Don

Gary, I think so. I think this is the earliest I've fished in February so all this is a bit historic and a learning experience. Despite the frigid water, lots of smaller 11-13" bucks on the banks in some spots. Nearly all the sizeable girls were getting plump tummies and hanging out in fairly shallow water. 2023 looks great so far 👌 👍 All the best, Don
