I love how Josh is trying to keep it classy and Ollie, just being himself, brings us all down to earth xD

When tasting, Josh closes his eyes, sits back in the chair, and tries to identify what he is tasting. Ollie rocks back and forth in the chair while his eyes pop out of his head which is twisting and turning. Since he does this with almost everything he tastes, you never know if he likes it or not until he speaks. I love these guys!

If Ollie is anything like me, the fact that his mouth is stuffed with almost more than it can hold is just completely overwhelming so he doesn't really process the food until it goes down

Listening to everyone here say they don't care for oysters is so foreign to me. Nothing beats throwing some hot sauce and lemon juice on it and eating. It's an amazing and divine thing.

I was a butcher for 6 years so i can tell you Ollie that the cut off point for lamb to become mutton is usually around a year and a half in the UK :)

I tried caviar once at a wedding,I was not impressed it was just little balls of rancid salt water. Some of the “posh” foods people rave about I really don’t get lol (I have tried tho I promise 😂) I’m defo more on ollies level here

@@littlemy1773 Lobster, oysters, and roe (caviar) were all once considered "poor man's food." They were cheap and plentiful for villagers living along the sea. After railroads came about and ice houses could keep them refrigerated, it suddenly became fashionable for inland residents to import seafood that they never had fresh access to before. The natural supply rate of those food sources couldn't keep up with the increased demand and those foods became more scarce increasing their price.

I love how Josh's reaction to the food is like a reserved gentleman while Ollie is just reacting like Ollie hahah

This reminds me of every fancy dinner I have experienced thus far: someone always goes high (is elevated by the experience) and someone always goes low (is baffled by the whole thing).

The contrast between Josh's peace and acceptance of the posh flavours and Ollie's chaotic whirlwind of emotions ingesting strong flavours is the best part of this video!

I think I actually died a little on the inside when I saw that mille feuille dessert 😭

I had no idea what an unsophisticated palate Ollie has until this video. He didn't even know what many things even were, let alone how they tasted.

Absolutely a priceless (in more ways than one) episode. So much great repartee! I am an auld woman in Southern California, USA, & you 2 young men bring me such joy!! What a great experience to enjoy with you! Blessings!

I believe in the awesomeness that Josh is feeling but Ollie's reactions were super genuine. If someone doesn't like oyster, it's a literal nightmare!

This was significantly funnier knowing Ollie is restraining himself so much considering his reaction to fancy dishes in the safety of their studio. 🤣

Everytime the tiny little dish came out, my immediate reaction was "oh that will cost a lot" and "is there a way recreate that dish on a huge portion?". Well, thanks for the video, love it 💜

The wagyu carpaccio scone with truffle and caviar wouldn't be too hard to replicate, but increasing the portion size would cost a fortune. The only cheap part of that is the scone 😆

I watch some eps with my mom and she LOVED this one! She laughed so hard at Olly freaking out and, as a typical mom, wanted to have a box like the one with the desserts at home cause it’s so cool lmao

I love the way Josh closes his eyes and Ollie's eyes get big as saucers when they're tasting the savory foods (no time-stamp necessary, because it's consistent throughout), then they reverse when they get to the first chocolate from the Sweetie Box! (beginning at 11:22) :)

There are two types of people in a fancy restaurant... And I gotta say, I'm definitely Ollie 100%

I feel so validated because Ollie holds the spoon with his left hand and the fork on the other. As a left handed child, I was always scolded because they say I was holding them the wrong way haha now I just don't care anymore lol

Josh and Ollie should come back to this place some months later and this time, they brought Gabie and Lizzie with them! I think that will be a good double date, I think.

This is so random but I met Julian (the French guy showing the distillery) in Glasgow! We were both waiting in-line to do the Day 2 PCR test. We talked for a bit since the queue was so long but I never asked him what he did for a living. Never knew I will met him again on your video! If only you guys upload this earlier! :D

This was by far my favourite video on the ENTIRE Jolly channel to watch. Well done to Andy for producing it and the whole crew.

As a person who doesn't really get to do anything half as exciting as you guys, I love living vicariously through your experiences doing all of these crazy things (especially the food) - thank you!

Olly’s facial expressions are always enjoyable but extremely unreadable.

Josh and Ollie's reactions reminds me of when a father and kid son duo goes to eat at a restaurant. One with an elegant refined expressions and the other with kid-like comedic cartoonish expressions.

Love how out of every dish Josh and Ollie are most impressed with the magic box.

Watching Josh and Ollie have their minds blown with their incredible food adventures is the best thing KZread has going for it.

I truly believe the universe chooses a select few to enjoy oysters and you can assume that if you haven't tried one by a certain age you're not one of the select few because every person I've ever seen trying an oyster for the first time hates it 😂

I was actually surprised when they ate it raw. In my village,freshwater oyesters are called ,sitwa and we boil them like snails and garnish with spices to eat.

I absolutely love how welcoming people always are around you guys. Just goes to show what incredible people you all are! Thank you for bringing a little bit of Jolly-ness to us!
