I have a question. Hey Amy! Do you believe as a Christian it's okay to leave your marriage and breakup another marriage in the process?

Karen Skultety well you know biblically, she's living in adultery, because she had no biblical grounds for divorce. So sad. I guess when your famous it doesn't apply.

Geez people, the truth is we don't know what went on behind closed doors. You don't KNOW what happened between them. maybe he did cheat on her and just because she never said so doesn't mean he didn't. Not on,y that, but if you look at who they are today, that pretty much tells the story. Gary is not the kind of man I would want to be married to, 3rd marriage to a Hooters woman, met her when his production company was making the calendar for Hooters. His attitude seems very harsh and crash, and I just don't see a lot of Christ in his spirit. Not saying he isn't a Christian, but he does not appear to be that. Looking at Amy and having watched these people over their full careers as I am the same age, I have seen Amy function in grace , and still does so. She is still promoting Christ. And I can see Christ in her. I was very upset when she divorced and then remarried another man who had recently divorced. For many years. But as I grew up I realized I didn't know what happened between Amy and Gary, and seeing a story on her it documented how very early in their marriage they had serious issues, even before the kids. I think they should have divorced then probably. But they went through counseling and worked on it and stayed together. Then came the children. Children only make any issues in a marriage worse. I have come to see the incredible love story between Vince and Amy, and I have to say she made the right choice. God does forgive folks, you need to remember. And you cannot put the blame solely on her, it is simply not fair. Two people were in that marriage and from what I have seen of Gary chapman, she was carrying the relationship. Just my opinion. So please, before you judge remember that you never once walked in her shoes. Even if she was wrong for leaving, God does forgive. So who are we to then continually judge something God has already forgiven. Blessings

Yeah, your pride and arrogance is just as ugly and detestable as sins to God as anything I, Amy, Gary, Bill Gather, Elvis, Mother Teresa or Hitler ever did. Sin is Sin. None of deserve anything but condemnation for every sin we have ever done. You don’t understand grace or what Jesus’ blood has done for all who call on His name for forgiveness at all. Nor do you have His love in you. Time to go back to what the Gospel really is.
