Awesome to see the GOAT making a historic comeback! You can't take any of these practice sessions and get a real idea of what's gonna happen. We won't know til they pull. I think Devon is to much for John at this point. But, all the best to both competitors. In my eyes the two best ever. Stay strong and healthy everyone.

Devon is currently #1 in NA, and that makes him the favorite, so what you wrote made sense. Devon winning wouldn't be a big surprise, but it's about the sport more than anything. This is just a great match for a lot of people to watch and a great promotion for the sport. John is just having a ton of fun so good luck to him. Stay strong and healthy and give us a good fight.

Yeah, John is definitely the G.o.a.t. but at this point Devin has reached his own level of greatness, after bouncing back from the crushing Cyplenkov defeat, and he's at his all time best. John too, is on a rampage after a retirement and building momentum as the literal eldest competitor, amongst the worlds best currently. I like them both, and should be a great match, whomever wins. Both Devon and John are among top 5 in the world right now. And John's been there an awful long time. Devon has been up there too, and he's now right at his prime, of strength and experience these days.

It's practise, but you can see John pulling Todd the way Devon did in their Dubai match. John stopped Todd from pulling him across the table. You can see Todd wanted to go into the kings move, but John had good hand control and he kept the match in the center of the table.

0:32 That's exactly a prelude to what Devon will do. Try to slip as soon as he realizes he can't beat John on a fair straight fight.

The only thing you can tell for certain watching this practice pull. Is that the Armbet shutout stakes aren’t really fair. It should have been shut out stakes, and every match has to be won by a dad Move.

Would be amazing if he somehow beat Devon. Clearly the odds are against him and its very unlikely, especially considering how good Devon was in his last match. If John won it would be one of his most amazing accomplishments, excited to see the match myself. Having said all that, John is the GOAT arm wrestler. win or lose. You can tell he wants to prove something real bad with this comeback though. You can see the fire in his eyes, he's very motivated and has something to prove.

I thought it's pretty much the opposite of what you said. If John couldn't easily beat Michael, then he for sure has no chance vs Devon, whose match with Michael looked like it was some "top 3 armwrestler vs. a strong amateur at best" match. I know, practice so it's not 100% and he doesn't want an injury, but so are Devon's matches. Honestly, i don't know what would have to happen for Devon to lose this. Huge respect for John and his legacy, but i don't think it's possible.
