It's incredibly romantic to me to ask about kissing. I've asked it and I've been asked, and it's fantastic either way. Gives me the whole butterfly- thing. I think people are too strung up on the hollywood- "just kiss them!" trope, as if there can't be passion when there's explicit verbal consent involved, and that sounds pretty unhealthy to me.

@Don't Be A Marder sure but consent doesn't always have to be verbal, i think it's nice if there's a mix, if you ask every single time to ask your partner it'd get a bit boring to me after a while

i kind of like the idea of someone just kissing me/me kissing them like in a movie, has a sort of element of 'i didn't see that coming!' which to me makes it feel quite passionate and exciting

As lonely as it can be to be single, especially as I’ve been single for nearly four years, I much prefer being single to dating aimlessly and jumping from partner to partner like I did when I was younger. It’s given me time to work on myself and improve myself as a person and a friend.

When I was in high school, my boyfriend and I were very much the “grab her and kiss her” type of couple. Now we’re in our late 20s, and our relationship has changed because our boundaries have evolved. Nothing is more romantic than that man asking if he can kiss me!

My dad's way of getting through the divorce was to treat it like mom had died. He sang songs about dead spouses and moving on at karaoke, he kept his wedding ring with a lock of hair wrapped around it, and he just grieved. It's kinda hard when mom texts or emails him, but I think it's probably the healthiest choice he could have made. He doesn't make us "play along" or anything, he even encourages us to visit her and reminds us to call her on mother's day and her birthday.

Michael starting to shake off his self-interest and insecurity and being more aware of EVERYONE around him that he realizes he HAS created an actual family with is the best part of this whole series. It reminds me of the second act(?) of Groundhog Day when Phil starts to improve himself and be of service to others for real as opposed to for show.

The Long Distance part made me start crying especially when Michael said I miss you so much because I do miss my now Ex Boyfriend so much (he lives in Ireland and I live in Germany). This is the first time in my life that I really miss someone. I hate saying things didnt work out but I guess its true. It is painful, because when we were together it was all so perfect but then back on the phone it was worse

I think asking before making any physical contact - especially when someone is still very new to/inexperienced with dating - is VERY romantic. As you mentioned, it shows a great amount of respect for boundaries/consent. My boyfriend asked permission to hold my hand, for a hug, if he could kiss me, and many other things. He's still good about asking before doing (or even talking about) certain things, and it's one of my favorite things about him. 🥰❤

It was really great. Michael was so obnoxious in the begin, but I really like his relationship with Holly. And I think their first break up really help him in is growth. Now I have to re-watch the Office. . I know this is a bottle in an ocean of comments, but I think it would be great to see you react to 'Stromae' - L'Enfer (Hell). . He's a great Belgian artist who help a lot of people with mental health issues through his music. In the beginning of the year 2022, he made the promotion of his new album in the number one TV channel in France, in the news (prime time). The song he sang back then spoke to the heart of many, and a lot of people call suicidal crisis lines to seek help. That song is "L'enfer" ('Hell'), there are good english subtitles on Stromae's youtube channel. "L'enfer" is about depression and loneliness. I would love that you listen this song, even if it's just for your heart's content. . I would advise anyone to listen to Stromae's music because this man is a true artist. I think his song and his word can help people with their mental health. And sometime the feeling of not being alone can be enough to seek help and begin to heal.

I'd love to see you do a couple videos about relationships in "Scrubs". There are so many. You have the big 3, which are J.D. and Elliot, Turk and Carla, and Dr. Cox and Jordan. You also have the others like J.D. and Kim, Kelso and his wife (who is never seen but is just a very odd one I'd love your take on). You could have ones about the BFFs J.D. and Turk and why their friendship is just amazing. Also, I'd love a take on Dr. Cox and J.D. and growing from a Mentor/mentee relationship into a true friendship.

@Mended Light, It's interesting that the last part of Michael's story with Holly was when he was asking her permission to kiss her after they had been apart for so long. I was thinking about people asking permission before taking things to the next physical level this morning, and how there's a lot of commentary on how asking "ruins the mood". As someone who for the longest time thought it was romantic to just "go for it", looking back on my own life, I can honestly say that people have "just gone for it" with me in regards to physically harming me (and not being romantic). I have only ever been in one serious relationship (and I married the guy, I was 24 when we started courting), but all of the physical harm came from people who would just grab me (to hug me), or when I was a teenager and couldn't put up a fight, touch me in inappropriate places. While asking "may ruin the mood" for some people I definitely agree with "Johno" that it's a deep respect for someone elses boundaries and comfort level. I think that really shows love and care. And I don't think it's possible then to "ruin the mood".
