Compliments Michael. cannot see ONE Brit going to Germany exposing their "acknowledgement" of german ! Not to speak standing on a stage !!!!!! If you consider that even german is his 2.language (he speaks normally bavarian) "hoast mi ?"

As a German I really don't like German Comedians, when the add popped up on youtube I clicked and thought it was quite funny. I think I will go and see him in London at Soho theatre...

he needs some time to grow abroad. HIs old material was very good but he his newer stuff isn't that great. The stereotypes is a double edged sword. As soon as they hear german, they want some of it. If he would pull through his bit without a bit of nazis and octoberfest, some would be disappointed.

speaking as someone who saw Michael's shows back in the 90's, I can say he has consistency, something uniquely his own. I would recognize it, even if it were written down. An entire story, snappy call backs, mimicking sounds, accents, stereotypes, beginning to end, it is all connected. Of course he is more comfortable in German, but doing stand up in another language takes major balls, and he is doing a great job at it. his Bavarian accent is something i thought I's miss in his English shows, but actually I can hear it, even in English :D :D

If I were a German comedian on stage in English, I would dress with Dirndl and braids (I'm a manly man, so all trannyish) and then say stuff like "I'm a serious man and don't wanna make a mockery of my culture like all those other German comedians abroad". The rest of my program would be just random hate speech from the darkest pits of my political soul, delivered in menacing tone like a stereotypical military arms dealer, poetically evil. The politically correct tranny powers make everything possible.
