He actually got in trouble for domestic violence at a hotel. His wife and him got in a huge fight cops were called he was arrested. It was during this contest. None of us our perfect. Sadly his loss of control made headlines. If it was not fir his faith and relationship with Jesus he would have crumbled and given up. I believe he will be a better person as he rebuilds from it.

He absolutely nailed it. This is a true Garth song.

They survived his daughter's birth because they still had work to do. 5 little boys were going to be born into bad circumstances & they were going to need a forever home...a loving,safe,secure family. I feel his pain & joy in his voice when he sings. He is blessed with many talents, but his abundance to love and enormous patience sets an example for the rest of us. He was arrested for domestic assault on his wife in the hotel they were staying at right after this show. That’s not a beautiful heart and soul. Any man that raises his hand against his wife I have no respect for no matter how talented they are.
