Simon is definitely right. I was bullied a lot in school and I would always go home crying. I would sing in my room and dream of becoming a singer and finally become someone. I’m just so nervous to go on a stage and show the real me

I will never be able to watch Josh's audition without bursting into tears. He sang it from his heart to his friend's ears in Heaven. Now, since losing my husband, best friend, & soulmate in September of 2020, I understand the way he interpreted the lyrics in a different context. I hope this young man has continued to make music as he is very talented.

In Josh’s audition I love the way the lady picked that eye blink from Simon and she knows what to do instantly!

Josh's performance seriously left me totally heartbroken both for him and the fact Simon had just lost his mum. Truly amazing performance I will never forget. Always wondered what happened to him and whether hes still doing music

The man singing The Rose brought me to tears, this was my Grandmother's favorite song. She sang it at my Grandmother's funeral 💗💗💗

My father passed42 years ago and he was my hero, protector,guidance,friend and I could cry at the drop of a pin thinking of him. This song, which I had not listened to the words before, touched my heart and Josh’s emotion put toward his friend. I have lost many friends in my 65 years, but my dad keeps showing up as a hawk when I am at my lowest or need him. Thank you Josh

Nope the only difference is it’s 9:22 where I live at the moment.

My grandma took care of me from the day I was born. She passed away when I was 13. It was so painful, it is still painful and Will be forever painful. Josh’s audition killed me. I Miss her so much, I know I’ve became a terrible person to this day without her by my side. Mommy Lola, if you’re watching me from above, I still need you and I Will always do. I Love you and I Miss you so so much! I’d do anything to be with you😢❤

I've heard several renditions of this song, including the original singer. I have to say I like this version the best! As soon as he started, I was immediately drawn in by his captivating voice....begining to end one of the best male performance I've ever heard!

Cried my way through all the auditions.... really beautiful and so moving 🥰❤️

At 12:49 when he said "night night baby brother sleep. Until we meet again stay safe my friend" that got me. I am dead ass sitting here bawling my eyes out because even though me and my brother fight alot, I would still miss him and cry every time if he were to die. Don't hold grudges on anyone because the next day, minute or second they could be taken from this earth while you still had that grudge on them. Love people for who they are and accept them for who they are no matter what. 😭✨❤️

The first guy, I like how the female judge took charge and took the attention off of Simon, who was having trouble staying composed.

That's Cheryl Cole. The Irish pop singer. She's a singer herself. Simon was overwhelmed with sadness because his mother passed away days before the audition and it hits him very hard on that day.

Josh is so amazing and I was absolutely SHOOK after I saw him portray this to his friend. I look at my partners passing the same way. As well as Christian, his song to his brother was so sweet❤ You guys rock!🫶🏻🫶🏻🎉

Every now and then I search for Christian’s song about his brother and I’ve known the song for years and I still cannot watch that without breaking down in tears the whole video, that man’s voice and lyrics are beautiful but sad

Josh just hit that heart string. I always thought josh should of been a star between his voice, his personality, and the emotion he put in his singing. He should of been more

So many auditions that I watch from these kind of shows, I simply sit down and watch out of boredom, with no real expectation - just a way to pass the time. And then I find myself crying more times than not, remembering that virtually every, single person out there is going through truly difficult, life-changing things - and as alone as I myself feel, I'm really not. And that perseverance is possible. These people on this specific video, are absolutely incredible and beautiful in a variety of ways. My God.

For the first clip, Simon lost his mom right before that was filmed so it hit him hard. Loved lost ones will always be a heartbreak no matter how long time has passed but it's the comfort of these kind of songs that will allow them to feel and allow them to process the hardships. People in heaven, you will always be remembered but never forgotten. 💛
