In the last one Kobe dropped 55 mostly on Stack, not MJ, they hardly guarded each other that game. CONTEXT MY GUY. But in one-on-one matchups between Mj and Kobe, MJ got that. He won all the Bulls 1on1, All-star game, the first meeting with the Wizards. In this game seen here they hardly did anything. Take those seasons away and he's averaging 29 ppg with about 6 assist a game on about 48% shooting for his career rivalring the great Michael Jordan who like Lebron was given the keys to be the man and put up numbers immediately but haters like yourself will always try to diminish Love's greatness. He's my favorite player and GOAT just because of haters like you and he had the toughest road to greatness and somehow still forced him self into the conversation despite haters and trash people like you wanting him to fail because of personal feelings towards him as a person rather than primarily focusing on him as a player. Mitch Richmond. Smh. Kobe's Lakers clearly began the superteam era. 2000 team was a superteam. Then they get Rider. Then they get Richmond. Then Payton and Malone and it backfired. Then Odom, Gasol, and Artest. Honestly. This is where Lefraud got it from and then put it in overdrive.

Superteams dominated way before Kobe and Shaq's Lakers. The 80s Celtics had Bird, McHale, Parrish, Ainge, Dennis Johnson, Bill Walton. The 80s Lakers had Magic, Kareem, James Worthy, Byron Scott. 60's Celtics had Bill Russell, Sam Jones, Bob Cousy, John Havlicek. Ridiculous teams, insane amount of All-Star and Hall of Fame talent going back to the old days.

Nah! This game aint that close at all. 39 yr old MJ is just outmatched againts 24 yr old Kob. Mike was playin SF while Kob V Rip. I remember this Kobe said after the game it's fun gcoming back from 20 and win. Mike was letting Rip do the running this season. Kobe just decided to turn it on in the 4th and Mike and Wiz are done.

The Lakers just had too much young firepower, and shooters. Kobe facilitated beautiful to shooters, and did not get caught up in the MJ Kobe matchup. The torch was passed from MJ to Kobe this game.

Kobe played teams in the playoffs that had winning records, not once had he faced a team with a losing regular season record, Kobe was surrounded by talent earlier in his career, Mike didn't have that luxury, he had a lack of help, which is why Kobe won earlier in his career, Mike the opposite.
