Kobe Haters should watch these early 2007 games and listen to every commentator saying "Only 18 shots a game? He needs to get back to the 27 shots a game he's been taking." The Lakers, at times, have needed Kobe to light it up. And with this scrub ass team of course he was gonna fill it up. It's the only reason they won games.

This was yet another occasion where if Kobe was on the floor, you were never out of it. He was an absolute scoring machine who could score from, literally, ANYWHERE on the floor against anybody; he’s the greatest scorer I’ve ever seen. Most people (haters) would look at the amount of field goal attempts, but given the quality of teammates Kobe had, he needed to shoot/score as much as much possible to give those Lakers teams (2005-‘06 & 2006-‘07) a chance to win; his prime was certainly not fulfilled.

@@jameschristiantaylor123 only mark Jackson said that and kobe fans ran with it. When Phil was asked that question he hesitated before saying yes. Kobe wasn't more skilled in the way most think. He couldn't blow pass players with his speed like Jordan could so he had to come up with more crafty ways to get pass them. Kobe had to pound the ball alot to get separation whereas jordan was just quicker. Jordan handles were just as good too because in his era players could hand check as well. Alot of great players haven't said kobe was more skilled lil bro. U can't name 5. Only player that said kobe was more skilled again was Mark Jackson and John Lucas and they weren't great. Mark Jackson got caught up in the moment after kobe finally beat the suns 09 in the playoffs. It's nothing kobe did greater than mj except shoot more 3s and miss alot more shots. Kobe is a top ten player and the 2nd greatest sg of all time tho.

@@jameschristiantaylor123 bro you're young. Jordan hit alot of tough jumpers and shots but you weren't watching ball from 85 to 93 and no shade your commentary shows it. ALL KOBE fans say the same thing about range but mj mid range jumper was purer than kobe. Kobe pull more deeper 3s but Jordan was just as good from 3. Jordan didn't have to pull deep from 3 all the time like kobe did. Kobe was more perimeter oriented but jordans perimeter game was just as great and his midrange was even greater because he played against tougher defenses and was always the focal point of the offense. Kobe was a second option that became a 1st option and then a legend. The 04 finals and 08 finals combined with his struggles between losing shaq and before acquiring gasol shows u the difference between micheal Jordan and kobe Bryant rih.

Kobe has better skills than lebron. Kobe has a better shot, (in my opinion) better court vision, and can defend other 2-guards with ease. See the difference? When kobe scores extremely high, it’s usually out of necessity because he has no choice but to carry the team most of the time especially that 81 point game. Star players nowadays *cough* *harden* *cough* either stay in the game despite having a comfortable lead or stay in the game to reach their ppg despite a blowout game. That’s stat padding. Kobe is different.

Goat Reacts wasted what??? He came in the league in a beautiful situation playing with the most dominant big man in modern history, and the HOF coach Phil. He ran everybody off because he wanted to be the man and when he finally able to showcase his skills and leadership on a mediocre team he couldn’t even get to the playoffs, they bring Phil back and he couldn’t get pass the first round.

It took 2 overtimes for the lakers to reach 112 pts. Not to mention, kobe having 53 of the 112. Defense back then was so different compared to today's cupcake era. I bet kobe would average 40 in today's nba considering the soft ass defense, the pace and the spacing.
