True true.. Egos exist in the combat realm. Lets be factual here jon jones wouls beat jai in a 5 round fight 10 out of 10. Jai stand up technique is better than jones.. But every other area jones beats him.. Doesnt take anything away from Jai. But jones dedictaes his lofe to fighting.. Jai dedicates his life to marital arts and acting. Jones is use to that environment. If they was doing touch sparring based on skill alone.. JAI cpuld make jones look stupid.. But actually connecting and fighting. Jones 10 out of 10 would hurt Jai.

MJW's striking skills are exceptionally good, even when compared to professional fighters. That's a fact, and he has the credentials to prove it. He isn't claiming to be able to beat these fighters in the ring. You can be the most technically skilled person in the world and still get outperformed in actual competition. There's a difference between technique and fight IQ. Fight IQ is what allows a fighter to determine the correct technique to use given a situation.

For anyone saying he's just an actor he has seven degrees of black belt in 8 diff martial Arts style of fighting. White is a martial artist in eight different styles: Shōtōkan, Goju-Ryu (for which he studied under Master Eddie Morales where he learned to sharpen his Goju karate technique), Taekwondo, Kobudō, Tang Soo Do, Wushu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Kyokushin, with a specific focus in Kyokushin Karate (although his style incorporates aspects of many different martial arts forms). White started training in the martial arts at the age of seven in Jujutsu. He next took up Shōtōkan and moved on to other styles later. Hes probabaly in the top 5 fighter in the world an can literally obliterate anyone. To have seven degrees of black belt is insane. Michael jai white whould destroy jon jones with using no hands an just his legs Even joe rogan said Jai White is legit with just his legs alone, he literally kicked a heavy bag before an broke the chain an the heavy bag flew in the air

I would never fight for the same reasons. I make 80K as a trainer. Unless you learned it as a kid/teenager I think it's almost impossible to really master. MJW has actually taken part in competitive striking (long ago), but he's a skilled striker who still trains voraciously and occasionally spars with MMA fighters. He's not claiming he can hang with them...he's older, and he's not a ground fighter, but he is very knowledgable about striking. For crying out loud, if you listened attentively to what he's saying, he did admit there's no way he can grapple with Jones because he's just too strong.

People act like there’s not regular guys that could’ve competed in MMA. Professional fighters get submitted in gyms by non fighters all the time. There’s people that train everyday as a hobby. Doesn’t mean these guys could be champions. Unless your top tier MMA fighters get paid 💩. All fighters got paid bad when Michael and Rogan were young. Of course they picked acting over fighting. Doesn’t mean they’re not legit or can’t hold their own against professionals they just chose another career path that worked out for them.

Michael jai white whould destroy jon jones with using no hands an just his legs Even joe rogan said Jai White is legit with just his legs alone, he literally kicked a heavy bag before an broke the chain an the heavy bag flew in the air

@@vesnalazic6379 Michael Jai would destroy Jon Jones? You gotta be trolling or 12yrs old. Jones would obliterate MJW. One takedown and it's a wrap. If he clinched with him a wrap. He would beat him in anything combat, boxing, kickboxing, muay thai, grappling, bjj. Any elite pro of comparable size would beat MJW let's get serious. Let alone the possible GOAT in MMA. I've asked this a million times, and nobody can produce... show me ONE real MJW KO. One REAL submission. Post hard sparring. Post an intense grappling session. Ya won't find them. So how with a straight face, can anyone think, he can beat a battle tested, proven, real fighter and world champion?!?! We don't even know if he can take a hard punch or rally back. A million unknowns with him. Get serious guy. You are either very young, MJW is your Ultimate Hero, and you have zero experience with effective fight training. Gotta be the case. MJW awesome Martial Artist cool dude... he ain't beating no hardened real fighters and Pros sorry.

People always tend to forget theres a big difference with knowing and doing. Jai White saying the he has more knowledge than a lot of these fighters is probably true because of all his years studying martial arts but I guarantee that a top level fighter that is considered a grappler will out strike his ass cause of their experience of just simply fighting the best in the world ive seen that with my own eyes time and time again
