    @@YZFR1Knightrider Sure. When you move off line and your opponent remains focused on your prior positioning, he's on the "old tracks" while you're working him from a new angle, or the "new tracks". Make sense?

    Using your kicking chambers to mask footwork is one of my favorites ways to close the distance in sparring. Learned it a couple of years back. Took a while to get down, but very practical and difficult to notice. You can accomplish the same movement concept as you pull your leg up for the chamber as well.

    Great explanation, thank you. Seeing how GSP has had success with the superman jab and that both he and MJW are karateka, I’d hazard a guess that all those years training the zenkutsu-dachi really helps with this technique.
