I finally met my idol @officialmichaeljai. He shared with me some great advice and tips to help me on my journey, as Action Star. One of the best days of my life!
ABOUT Diezie Sahn:
Born and raised in West Africa Liberia, Diezie Sahn is a Professional actor, Action Star, Vocalist. His discipline in various forms of martial arts extends his artistic vision as a Stunt Coordinator and a Fight choreographer. In Atlanta, Ga, Diezie has acted and performed stunts in several films. He is best known for his television and film work in the Action, Psychological horror, and Mystical genres, despite battling a speech impediment, and has received the CMF and TERMINUS “BEST ACTOR” Awards. His recent leading role in the P.S.A, “Corona man,” went viral and has been the talk of America. Before breaking into the film industry, Diezie lived in an Ivory Coast refugee camp during the Liberian Civil War. He refuses to allow anything to stop him from achieving his goal of empowering others through film.

His highest rank is actually 3rd Dan (Kyokushin), 4th Dan is to be considered a Master in most disciplines. Definitely not a grandmaster but a very talented Martial Artist

@@johnmatonne7834 it’s irrelevant. You have to back up your claims especially when someone calls you out, or the claims aren’t going to be taken seriously. Bruce rarely backed down from a fight because he liked fighting and had a bad temper so it’s kinda ironic the situation MJW put himself in. I def think he is skilled and obviously he is fit and big guy. No doubt in my mind he’d kick the crap out of 90 something percent of ppl
Dude is a living legend. Love seeing him pass gems and insights to the next wave.

I swear, one day I'll also see him and talk to him face to face. Please GOD, keep M.J. White safe and strong until this day happens. When I first see you in Universal Soldier, something changed in my life. From this very day, I realized that you can have muscles, be fast, strong and also a gentleman in real life. Thanks for setting an example for many of us.
For him to take the time with these guys is humbling; this guy is an icon in his own right - this is akin to Ray Lewis teaching kids at high school on a random day! Wow

Had a smile on my face throughout this, was nice to see him just chatting in the gym, he is on a top tier small list of fighters on screen who just make martial arts seem like god mode to me when watching.

I met Michael Jai White in downtown Detroit about 7 years ago. He's a very nice guy! We talked about some of his movies and took a picture together. Real good guy.
I really appreciate Michael Jai White... I've had hip replacement 3yrs ago I'm 57 I love martial arts been working out staying in shape understanding more of my limitations watching Michael Jai White gives me understanding and will continue to find more of his teaching 🥋
Plain and simple, Mr. White is one of the best instructors on the planet. I've seen numerous videos of his and he's clearly as capable of passing on knowledge as he is the actual practice of martial arts.
I really appreciate Michael Jia White for his tyle in martial art! As I am in Haiti, I don't know how I could meet him for a sitting of training!!!

I'm so jealous that he got to train with him.. His experience is spot on and love how efficient he is with his mechanics.
I am really touched by Sensei MJW. A good hearted person and a very good artist.. I have trained in Korea when in military back in 1978 an then travel thru Karate Okinawa then thru Tang Soo Do. I have been around an can admire a great asset to the arts as MJW has done and shows. God Bless
That man has extensive knowledge about martial arts and just seems like the coolest and nicest guy you would ever meet.

Osu! You are a lucky man! I would ove a randori with a champion like Michael Jay White. He is a real Kyokushin fighter and a talented actor.
A lot of people don't KNOW. Mike was fighting in the hood, the street, competitions all kinds of stuff. He might not "be in the ring now" but everything he's saying is making so much sense.

I didn't even know it existed until I was nearly 35, the hype hadn't really hit Australia until then. Prior to MMA there wasn't really any money in martial arts unless you owned a school or did movie type stuff. Only us 'crazy' types were into it. In western countries the only real option was Kick Boxing that I know of (not considering boxing here, not sure about american wrestling for the US). Michael is OLD, and still in amazing condition, but he did compete. I'm sure if he were born within the age bracket he would have had his shot. But consider for a moment does having an MMA record actually matter? Maybe to those living existentially through a TV screen. If people are secretly trying to bolster their own toughness by talking down other martials or people I would suggest they take this into account: not 'I'm a bit tougher because I reckon MMA is better than blah', but rather 'is this guy tougher than me and can he kick the living crap out of me?' Outside of the ring the primary purpose of any combat system is to improve survivabilty in a hostile scenario. It doesn't matter what you train or learn, if it works on the day and you get to go home to your family relatively unscathed I'd say the system worked, job done :) It's uterly pointless comparing systems because the rules dictate largely what will work better for a given scenario and outside the ring there are monsters out there with 0 training who can smash even the toughest of sports martial artists (and everybody else) because they are just monsters. Food for thought.

This great actor and master Jay White is splendid in the martial arts.
Sensei MJW is on point! My Shihan taught us early on in our Kyokushin training, the importance of two things to maximize your striking power: Opening the hips and Breathing/Exhaling out strong. When you fail to breath properly, you cut your reflex, blocking and striking power in half; anecdotally speaking.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Michael would make an AMAZING Blade!!!!...

The UFC shirt he's wearing tells me a lot. He would have been a professional MMA fighter in his younger years. Anyone who had an experience with Tupac Shakur is respectable. Michael Jai White will always be a legend

There’s nothing I love more than people who are experts at something and, more importantly, still passionate about it. He loves to give away knowledge whenever he can. Such a cool guy. A teacher That understands this is a true master. I learnt this from a spiritual master. I had to leave that fighting system because as a Christian I saw some things - some levels that I did not want to attain. However on the physical side - He is the greatest master I ever came across. I therefore can see from his movement that Jai White is a master.

@@JEM-fo6rs Been supporting this guy since the early days of Zen-Dragon content and following his journey. But there is a reason why you see my name so often. Early on, I adopted the habit of commenting on most content I'd watch on KZread, especially if it's martial arts related, as a tactic for bringing exposure to my channel.... that way if people saw my name they might click to check out if my profile had content, nd if they liked they'd start following. Nowadays it's just second nature, also as a KZreadr, I know that it makes a difference for the channel if people comment and it's an easy way of helping out, wether someone returns the favour or not. Do onto others as you would have them do towards you, that's one of the codes I (for the most part) live by.

The only Kata that serves to transmit information by touch.😎But because of the experience, he has definitely reduced the time to transmit information because he automatically searches for errors. Kinetic Chain Linking for Power Shots and Close Quarters Kinetic Chain Linking For Maximum Power at Close Range, 1 Inch Punch and 2-inch punch which actually are more like 2-3 inches and 6-inch punches, learning this technique is like learning a new language, practice in slo-mo 1000-10,000+, then slowly speed it up by a minor step up in speed always taking the time you need to perfect it, then a step faster and so on, effectiveness will come naturally by doing this, always make sure you feel the activation of the muscle groups, toes, calves, thigh, hips, core, chest, shoulders, triceps, biceps, wrist, and fist, these videos inspire me, I used to have this down pretty good, generates lots of power at close range, excellent video, Michael Jai White is the Real Deal, with his size and speed, he could have easily dominated in Combat Sports if he had decided to go that route, just effective and practical techniques

MJW has this profound experiential understanding of how human body mechanics work within the realm of martial arts and has the ability to convey that knowledge to others. All of that makes him a great teacher.

Yep bruce did the one inch punch demonstration at the long Beach karate tournament in the 60s and a interview from the 70s he spoke on the importance of putting your hip into the punch
