Michael Jackson's This Is It (EXTRAS - Staging The Return) (FULL)

Michael, you were always wronged by all, inside there was a pure soul like that of a child, happy and healthy, so pure that he wanted to help everyone in front of you, you wanted to help others, and whenever you helped others, they would kick you and throw you away. his soul was so good that he was able to donate millions to charity, even in 1984, he donated $ 1bi of dollars that came from PEPSI because of his serious accident, and Michael donated all the money to the charity, and was created the Michael Jackson Burn Center. Michael with his songs inspired millions of people to keep their faith, never give up on their goals, give people strength and still broke racial barriers in the 80s, since the Billie Jean clip was the first clip of a black artist to be displayed by MTV. Michael was very special, his childhood was extremely bad, he could not have friends, he could not be a normal child, every day he was going on tour to introduce himself to his brothers, he almost did not go to school, he spent all day working, recording music, working and working nonstop. Michael has always been judged by the color of his skin, because it was "clear" at a moment's notice, but come here, why does it matter? Michael was an excellent singer and dancer, the greatest entertainer in the world, he danced like no one, his magic shows, special effects and his magnificent voice enchanted the whole world, including Brazil, in 1993. Michael, I just want to tell you something. We, your fans, are here for whatever you need, supporting you, and we all know that you just wanted to heal the world .. I love you, Michael ..... L.O.V.E ♥

It just doesn’t make sense. You put unlimited amounts of money to make the most cutting edge, spectacular show yet you totally disregard the star of the show? They knew he was having trouble yet ignored all issues. Kept pushing him and pushing him despite seeing how fragile he was. They pushed him to the point of no return. SMH.

He was an absolutely amazing dancer, a pretty good singer, and seems like a very sweet person, but he wasn't perfect. He was an addict, lets not forget, and, I just watched the part of the video where the talk on and on about his big interest in the environment....okay, I mean, I am an MJ fan, but there is some serious hypocrisy there. Like... ....claiming to be all about the environment, and preaching to people about it, and yet I never heard of him, himself, doing a single thing for it. Jetting all over the world, having masions, etc., that is not an environmental life at all!

If you search for his "slurred speech" recordings you will find he had a heart of gold. We lost an angel on earth. I never believed for a second that he did anything improper with any child. His character in Moonwalker is pretty much him in real life it seemed. This world seems darker without him and all we have left are his songs and we are reminded to show the love that the world needs. Michael lives in us all. RIP Michael.

Take that with the top of the line technology Michael, and some of the best in the music business working with him, dancers etc. It would have been the greatest show period. I’m convinced of that. I've always been a huge fan of Michael Jackson since I was a little girl and I really struggled with his death for many years. I'll never forget the day I received the devastating news. I couldn't listen to any of his music or videos without crying for a long time and had to stop for a while as it hurt too much. I finally got around to watching 'This is it' with a heavy heart and although it wasn't the real thing I could see just how amazing it would have been. Michael went through a lot in his life with the media, the lies made up about him and people who were always trying to exploit him and make money from him and was clearly struggling in his final years more than anyone actually realised until sadly it was too late. One thing is for sure though, he loved the stage and loved his fans and knew how much they loved him. Thank you for sharing this video I didn't expect it to effect me as much as it has, even after all these years my heart still aches for our King. RIP Michael. You were too precious and innocent for this world. Thank you for all the years of happiness you brought me through your gift of music and dance. I will always love you.

Michael was still so young. He had so much more to give, but his insomnia had gotten so bad he was reliant on a cocktail of alcohol and drugs to get something even resembling sleep. Did anyone try to help him? No. Take the pills and get back on that stage. Wolves, sharks and vampires bled him dry and feasted on his dead body. He was a kind soul with a gentle heart, he didn't deserve the hell he was put through. We've been well and truly robbed of the greatest star the world has ever known.

They wanted that Sony/ATV catalog to go back to Sony so they killed him off to pry that catalog out of his fingers once he was cold and dead. Now that they succeeded in that regard in 2018,they're going to continue to dismantle MJ's legacy and make a joke out of it until somebody new comes along to replace the shitty executors he currently has. @Reality Bytes I believe differently. He was a victim from the time he was a little boy, raised amongst adults. He was insanely talented, sang and performed at 9 years old with the soul of an adult. How many 9 year olds do you know adults were listening to his music? To this very day, songs like Who's Loving You are sung by adults, even orchestras play Michael's early songs.Michael was never ever a child. That could change any child let alone a child in and around show budiness, singing songs with the maturity of a James Brown. Many children who's fame stopped, they no longer were useful, discarted, commited suicide or died bc of drugs. We get stressed pleasing a boss or a bad day with a co-wormer, imagine the pressure Michael had, who's talent and fame never faded, only got bigger and bigger? The demand to please and be better and better, after every sucsess, more and more was demanded of him. The pressure of having to please, not millions but billions of fans around the world. You say creepy? I say perhaps strange and naive to vultures to a fault. He lived in his own bubble,a place he made his own safety yet it was what destroyed him to the point of no return. Michael did not know how to handle failure bc all he knew was perfection. Once he felt he failed his fans is when he began to spiral down.Vultures coming for him in every direction until he lost his safe world he created. He died from drugs but also from a broken heart. After all,Michael was a child who's brain didn't handle situations as an adult would have. The child adult genius with child like heart, eaten by vultures until he ate himself to death.

Then this comeback was a way for him to redeem himself in a way (for most of us he needed no redemption) and it's sad he never got that chance to share his concert with his kids or get to feel the love we all still had for him eager to give it to him so he would know he was still the best and nothing could change that. And of course how he died is just bizarre and unbelievable. Saddest of all. I do to this day adore him. And miss him

I'm a lifelong fan of Michael Jackson, since I was 6 years-old. Im turning 44, in a couple of months. I was just doing some research on "This Is It", inspired by this video. I found something I was never aware of, before. I found reports that some of MJ's family did not approve, & actually tried to block The "This Is It" Documentary. Now I'm kind of torn. I loved this, & I own a copy of it. I can't imagine why his family wouldn't want it out there. Wikipedia says that they felt that since he was such a perfectionist, that he wouldn't want video of the rehearsals released to the public. But I thought that it was so beautifully done, & portrayed his process, quite lovingly. I wonder if the family was more upset, because there wasn't enough money in it, for them. Honestly, it just makes me sad, that they'd try to deprive his fans of this, & I believe that he'd want us to have this I know that his children are proud of their dad, & I pray & hope that they are proud of this beautiful work of art, as well. My only regret, is that I never got to experience 1 of his live concerts.

If they REALLY believed Michael would've thought it too premature to release the footage, then I can understand. Watching the movie felt dead, and as a painter, I hate when people look over my shoulder as I'm creating a piece that hasn't even begun to take form yet, or at least to my liking. Diehard fans can appreciate the little things. But Michael never intended to do any project on a small scale. The heading says "This Is It." But the finished product would make one ask, "Is This It?" I'd also compare releasing this movie to a man seeing his date before she finishes her hair and makeup. You think anyone wants to be seen in hair rollers and a mud mask? Behind the Scenes should only follow an epic show that's already floored its audience. And This Is It was just pieces of pre-production and rehearsals. It was too incomplete for something Michael would've been happy to show his fans.

Born in 1996, I was only a little girl to ever really know about who Michael Jackson was. I still remember vividly on the day he died, I was told by people around me that Michael Jackson has passed away. At the time, I didn't really know who he was except for the fact that he was a very famous singer. After 23 years of living, I have just recently discovered this honourable man. I have spent hours and days watching his interviews, documentaries and his sensational live concerts. And I am honestly gutted that I wasn't born early enough to see him alive and live in the same time as him. But at the same time, I am truly grateful that at least I got to know him really well now and what a priceless lesson he has taught me these past few days about unconditional love for earth, animals, people and most importantly his undeniable passion for music. Getting to know him has really made my morals even clearer and to always live with goodness and love. And to always give it a 100% on your dream because that effort is the starting point to your success. Even though I don't know him personally, I feel like I have such a deep connection with him and I'll always look up to him. Thank you Michael for your time on this earth and I hope you're in safe heaven now. Rest in peace and I'll see you up there when the time comes

I was born in the late 70s, so it was different for me. I was a kid in the 80s, when he was at his most famous. It was before all the scandles and stuff, when he was just the world's biggest mega-star. That's still how I think of him - as the young guy whose super-famous videos were on Video Hits, way back when I was a kid. Back then, it was before the internet, before tv-on-demand, before all the stuff we have now. So if you wanted to see a MJ video (or any video...my favourite as a kid was Glass Tiger), you waited until a show such as Video Hits came on, and, then, when VCRs came out, you waited for your favourite video to come on, then taped it on a VCR tape. I appreciate things we have today, like KZread! But, at the same time, it was kind of more special back then, because you had to wait for everything, it wasn't just all at your fingertips. Still, I do love being able to watch vidoes like this here on KZread! Just very different from how I grew up. It must seem odd to younger people, like yourself, but the internet wasn't even a thing until I was like in my mid-twenties or something. And, even then, it was not all over the place, like it is now. Not everyone had it, and it was sloooow, that old dial-up internet. Not everyone had an email address, that was a new thing, and there was no social media at all. And no cell phones, that came later, and no tablets yet, either, and laptops were big, heavy, rare, and expensive. It just all changed so fast. I appreciate the technology that allows me to watch cool videos like this one here, but I miss the old days, too.

You loved and had a carers heart .You were beautiful, unusually beautiful both physically and emotionally . Thank you so much for being a part of my life's experience . I miss you with allllll my heart.

Remember it like it was yesterday. I had received the email to purchase tickets the night before. Had investigated lodging and info on transportation for getting to 02 from ppl I knew that lived there. Priced out airline tickets from Oklahoma to London and then that terribly sad day, my family members texted and kept calling me to tell me what was going on in California and asking if I was ok. I was at work and just kept hoping he was going to be ok. Still miss the beautiful humanitarian and entertainer.

Here I am Saturday August 13th 2022 . It's been 13years and I can still smell the fresh pain. I hurt badly and I still hurt that he is no longer with us! God will never forgive those who conspire and killed Michael Jackson. The world needs him. We miss him most. He is so good and kind, he preach love and peace and he act what he preach. Thank you AEG records for posting his rehearsal video staging the return. He is deeply missed. He is the world best entertainer ever, no one can be like him, sing like him, dance like him or be good like him ever again. Am crying so badly as I type this message.

Gosh, I feel absolutely devastated for the performers and the crew. I can imagine how deeply saddened and gutted they would've been when he died. If Michael's children and family where the most affected and saddened by his death, then the crew and performers of 'This Is It' are the second, and in third would be the fans who booked to see the show. As a performer myself the idea of a show you've worked hard and passionate for to be canceled due to a tragedy is the worst nightmare that could happen. But there is one positive I guess. And that is that these performers where lucky enough to work on this in the first place. They got the experience to work with Michael Jackson, getting to see him and spending time with him in his last days. And they where part of the thing that made him happy. So Michael didn't really die in vain, he died doing what he loved and these people where a part of that. And now they can live to tell the tale.

This was going to be the greatest performance ever I wish he would've been able to send the message he wanted with the This Is It concerts. How much passion he had for the performance of Earth Song shows that's what he wanted to spread, how we need to come together and change how we treat each other and our home. It's been 10 years and we need that message so much now but instead the media wants to bash him with lies, make us hate him, make us "mute" him when all he wanted to do was bring us together. So many in the world didn't appreciate how special MJ really was and how we'll never get someone as gifted, loving and aware like him again. RIP Michael and thank you for sharing your gift to the world to spread love and hope. I will always cherish and stand by what you represented as a human and as a man advocating for a better world.

Absolutely correct and it's a true true shame that this horrible mass mediahas made one of the best people that's ever walked this Earth into one of the most disliked people but only by ignorant people who don't understand the truthin the facts because they just want to believe everything that the horrible magazines and then injust media who are just puppets for the higher-ups and do as they're told and as they're told they are just horrible corrupt and made so many false accusations truly broke his heart and soul and his family's in so many of his true fans who understand who he really is is it true shame in Injustice but that's how corrupt our system is nowadays and only getting worse good luck to all Michael would have only wanted the best for everybody but he was scared of he knew they wanted to kill him and he knew why and they succeededso unfortunate and they're such scumbags truly hope they all rot in hell.. love you and miss you Mike. 💯🙏😇🎶💖🕺

I love how he advocated for the Environment. ❤ that's something I really care about too, partly because of Michael and Earth Song. something that people never think about as harming the environment, is our food habits. Animal Agriculture in particular. they take up so much space, cut down so many trees, in the US Wild Horses are killed for Cattle Grazing. the Rainforest is being burned down, for Palm Oil, but even more so to grow crops to feed Farmed Animals, because we eat so many of them. Michael has said in the past apparently, that he didn't like the fact that animals had to die in order for him to eat them, and was Vegetarian at one point, but was told by his dietician that he needed to eat animals for his health. because touring took such a big toll on him. I truly believe that if he was able to get through his problems with eating (I've heard he didn't like to eat in general), and realized how much damage eating Dairy, Fish and Eggs also has on our planet, that he would have been Vegan. because he really cared about Animals and people and the earth. he's ultimately the reason why Im Vegan and why I care about this stuff so much. I miss him to pieces. 💔

My heart hurts in reading all the comments. Knowing what had happened before and the reasons why he died is really heartbreaking. I'm a new fan of Michael Jackson and I met him through 'You Are Not Alone' concert performance here in YT. I got curious because I find his fan service overwhelming. I mean... he's the only artist I know that let his fan on stage, singing for her, hugging her as if he's the love of his life, dancing with her, and he even kneels for her. He has so much love and respect to his fans and I found it very endearing. That's how I started watching videos, reading things about him, and listening to his music every single day. To be honest, I prevented myself to watch this video because I wanted to see him in his great shape and I didn't want to see his last days as a performer. I hope you get what I mean. I simply don't want to see it because I know it'll hurt me. And it did hurt me. It's hurting me for real. :( The only consolation I got is that I know he was happy while doing all these things, the rehearsals, the plans and seeing his visions slowly happening for real. He's truly happy and he's looking forward to it but God has other plans. I can't help but sigh and think what if he's still alive today? I believe the world we are living in is much more beautiful and full of life. How I wish. :(
