For people who think that MIchael faked his voice, Janet's voice sounds EXACTLY like MIchael's voice. The Jacksons have the most soothing, gentle, classy voices. I love them so much. One of the greatest.most fascinating American families of all time.

She confident and loyal because she knows herself and she knows who she was as a person/ Artist. She didn't need that validation of trying to out do michael. Unlike jermaine she never down played her brother success she excepted n became her own person. When people compete against you they don't and won't accept that simple fact of acceptance of their selves and the way jermaine be tryna downplay michael success is crazy.

Interesting how she's younger than him and his protector yet he's older...their bond is forever. Now that I think about it.. Janet's career was vastly underrated when it comes to entertainer and a singer. Greatest female entertainer of the 80s and 90s.. easily. She was incredible in her own right

I disagree, seeing how she’s been inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall. And at 57 years young, her “Together Again tour has been selling out. So much so that she’s added more dates through the Summer of 2024. Furthermore, she hasn’t released an album since 2015 and she’s currently on the BB charts. She’s also streaming, which is awesome, considering she’s not from the era of streaming music, rather going to a retailer and physically buying her records. There should be some sort of rules in place when it comes to those artist that charted before streaming music counted towards chart positions. Because of this new age of listening to music, we have artists releasing an album and all of the songs on the album chart because people are streaming the album. I don’t want to take the success of artist, like Drake for example; however, it should be duly noted that the artists who sold millions of physical albums & singles, should be in a separate category.

Living vicariously through seeing children experience fun & adventure braught him happiness. He gave so much to us through his talents over the decade's as well. All of his tireless hard work. I'm/ we're blessed to have had him living during our generations. R.I.P Michael

I'm sitting here in my living room and watching this & it just brought tears to my eyes. Cause i know what it's like to lose a sibling and a father and it's the most painful feeling in the world. My brother passed in 96 and then 14 years later i lost my father and a month later my favorite singer of all time Michael Jackson passed away & it was like losing another family member a month apart. When something like that happens it's difficult and a hard pill to swallow. I remember my mom was watching MTV and Childhood came on & i just cried because for years they gave Michael a hard time and it's sad. So I knew what his family was going through his parents losing a child, his brothers and sisters losing a sibling and his children losing their father because i went through the same thing.

I so enjoyed this. I was a year apart in age from Michael so I was watching him from a very young age. I still listen to him daily and watch his videos and concerts. We can never get enough of him as lifelong fans. Michael and Janet were my favourites as they were so in tune with each other. I just wish he was still here with us all and that the interventions would have been successful. The world is a sadder place without Michael.

he also borrowed various choreo and musical elements from her, my hot take is that janet was always bolder and more experimental career wise, the most of the family imo, she did things and covered more genres with the same strict work ethic and creativity that he had, that only both of them had, many ppl and artists who worked with them said MJ and her were the most workaholic, serious artists both on studio and performing ever. Joe knew this, knew how big she would become, that janet was one of the most fast learning, talented and disciplined of them

Just because he used to dance to her songs doesn’t mean anything. She’s his sister so ofc he’s gonna support her it doesn’t mean anything you’re making it out to be. Janet took and borrow some things from him too. Bad doesn’t sound anything like Control…Liberian girl, dirty Diana ( which Janet modeled her black cat song after), man in the mirror, bad etc nothing sound like anything on control. You Janet fans really take it too far trying to discredit a lot of what MJ has done to uplift her and the thing is you don’t have to down him to uplift her. The reason why music videos have storylines is because of MJ who JANET modeled the storyline concept after….and let’s not act like alright wasn’t the same musical influenced concept that MJ has done before. captain EO was how Janet got the idea that she wanted to do a military inspired project and MJ also wanted that idea, MJ was kind enough to give it to her first and that was it but a lot of ppl make it seem like he copied her when he was also thinking about doing it as well he was just nice enough to let her use the concept first. He danced to her songs because he was a supportive brother that was it. Nothing about bad and dangerous was influenced by control or RN given the fact that Bad and dangerous were more versatilie and had more genres than rn and control which are majority NJS centered.

We love Janet and everything she brought to the music industry but can you imagine the pressure she must have felt before she blew up. Like just think about it her brothers were the biggest black musical group ever at that time (certainly one of the biggest ever) and Michael was already a worldwide sensation because of Thriller by the point her career took off. She deserves all her laurels man she handled herself beautifully throughout her career and what sucks is internally she might have not felt that appreciation and love cause the success was just expected of her as a Jackson.

I believe Michael and his sister Janet were very close. She is the only sibling who really looks like Michael, and she is also the only one who can dance and sing simultaneously with him. Like Michael, she typically writes her own lyrics and melodies for her songs. The most expensive video is "Scream," which features both Michael and Janet Jackson. In my opinion, Janet was genuinely sad for a long time after losing her brother.

Love me some Janet, always will I’ve seen her live back in June last year and will be seeing her again. This coming summer for now a third time, I’m thrilled to be able to treat myself to this and much gratitude more importantly. She’s absolutely legendary and indeed iconic, the media has often compared her to Michael Jackson not them themselves. Even the questions they (The Interviewers) asked were inappropriate, blatantly disrespectful, and very cringey. 😑Rest in peace, continuously to him her devastation from his loss was heart wrenching.💔 I know that feeling personally as I’m mourning my beloved adopted mom, Janet’s music along with others I listen to as an aide to get through the heavy grief days & nights at times has brought some healing if not little moments of peace. In the midst of the sorrows, retrospective deep reflections as well. 😔🙏🏾💔I loved her documentary on lifetime/A&E/Hulu as well, I got to see Madonna back in December for the first time, my very first concert experience was the incredible Sir Elton John, now Ms. Jackson once again for a third time, all iconic and legendary artists, so far different than the music of today, or what’s considered talent. Amazing documentary thank you for sharing, & uploading.💖💜💖

Janet is so poised and absolutely beautiful. I'm sure it was overwhelming being constantly compared to her brother but they are both two of the best entertainers. It breaks my heart knowing that they didn't have much of a childhood with being in the public eye at very young ages all while having a disgruntled father. Also, Michael was the greatest performer of all time so him being described as shy and introvert is mind blowing. Also, how dare he?! 28:35

I'm a huge Janet fan. To me her music was WAY better thanks to Jam and Lewis. Yes, Michael's was good but, Jimmy and Terry put that funk and edge into Janet's music. Don't get me wrong, I think his Dangerous album is classic. That being thanks to Teddy Riley. Although Quincy was behind Michael's biggest hits, I was never a hardcore fan of his productions. That being said, I truly believe they both hold their own in the music industry as icons. 👍

Amazing finding out from her own words, that only she and their mother knew about his vitiligo. It explains a little, about Jermaine's frame of mind when he wrote that song about Michael, being mad at him. And I believe Michael forgave him. I can empathize with MJ about keeping it secret, but it resulted in so much scrutiny and fabrications of the truth about his looks. Poor guy. In my mind, he never wanted to be felt sorry for, but people are NOT KIND!! Especially the media!!
