Some of you misunderstand where a lot of this performance’s power comes from. The concert has huge historical and cultural relevance. Romania was the last central/eastern Europen country to abolish communism (was the only country that had to do this violently loosing civilian lives in the process). People just 3 years earlier were forbidden to listen to such music. English was not thought in schools. The country was sealed off for decades. This concert represented true liberation, in a way, more real than the dislocation of the communist party. Michael knew the significance of what he’s done here. He inspired a whole generation to follow their dreams. The ecstasy we witness here is a whole country’s locked up emotions bursting out violently. It’s beautiful.

Remember my parents buying this for me on DVD in the mid 2000s when I was a kid. I memorized every single song and move, and wanted to perform it for my parents on a weekly basis. Still love Michael Jackson and all his songs to this day. RIP MJ. Greatest artist ever!!

It's heavily edited. This concert had scenes from crowds from different countries and performances . Also some of the screams and calling outs were edited in. I watched the original live broadcast on the BBC and it is very different including the She's out of my life girl it is a different one completely ( although the audio is live from Bucharest but watch the microphone suddenly change colour through the song , also saw him do this tour in Glasgow in 1992 as a kid.

@@guld1999 He wasn't trying to become white, he had a skin condition that caused his skin to become lighter as he got older. He was on medications for that too. Sadly his doctors gave him far too much of the medications he needed and it messed up his heart. There was a whole documentary on T.V. about it a while back. He really tried to make the world a better place to the best of his ability, only for too many haters within it to pretty much spit in his face so to speak.

People comparing this legend with TS? Seriously? I mean i dont hate her nor i hate her music.Happy for her achievement.But this guy here is a freaking legend.He came up without social media.His songs are meaningful.During covid they played heal the world all over the internet.People fainting by him just standing still.That says it all

It's crazy to think how big of an artist Michael was and still is to this day. He barely does his toaster jump and people are already fainting, and it's barely his first song and there's already people fainting. Some of today's artists are proud moonwalkers themselves and they're not afraid to show it, that's how big he was AND STILL IS to this day!

I know I'm a bit late typing this, but it still baffles me of how a man, ONE. SINGLE. MAN could just stand there for a hot minute and have people fainting, crying, or taken to the hospital.

I'm almost 64 years old...watched the Jackson 5 in the 70's. My Son who is turning 40 this year, loved to watch MJ , and practiced the "Moon Walk" all the time. Wish I could have taken him to see him, before his untimely death. I have Never... seen Talent that compares to this Man. I still, to this day... Can't... Not... Dance... when I hear his music. What a Showman he was. May he RIP.

I was born the year this concert happened, I am honored to simply exist on the same timeline of his life. There will never be any person more talented than Michael Jackson, his life is a true miracle and gift from God I truly believe that and as humble and sweet as he was, makes him even better than all of these Hollywood trash today. Michael is still alive in our hearts ❤️

You know, I can really understand why people cry at his concerts. His talent, music, artistry and presence is honestly at a godly level. As an adult, I understand it now. I really get it. It is actually spiritual.

In December 89 Romania got free from comunism. Imagine your whole life in a prison solitary with just 2 hours TV a day and all was comunism propaganda. After that, you get out of solitary and have 2 years of riots, hunger, financial crisis, and try to organise the prison how you know better. After this 2 years of survival, Michael Jackson is coming in your prison and doing this... Michael was more than an artist, for us, in 92 he was freedom, he gave us the power to dream, to hope...

The world icon indeed of pop music. I really miss him. He was absolutely a STAR. No one can replace him ❤
