Part 13: • Michael Corleone Blanc...
Part 1: • Michael Corleone Blanc...
--------
Michael Corleone Blanco, son of notorious drug lord Griselda Blanco, tells the dramatic story of his mother's arrest after six years on the run from the DEA. He recalls the tension in his home the night before the arrest, as reports were already claiming that federal agents were close. Blanco talks about his mother's disbelief as his brothers warned her of the imminent danger, prompting a planned distraction attempt and a failed escape plan involving her beloved Toyota Supra. Dismissing the threat, Griselda Blanco argued that she was too obscure for the feds to recognize her presence in California. Michael vividly recounts the next morning when he, as a young child, saw the feds' blue jackets in a park, and he tried to flee before being told something was happening at his house. By the time he returned, a helicopter orbited above his home, and Griselda Blanco's daring life on the run had come to an end.

If your mom died or went to prison at age 6, you would remember things vividly. Trauma sticks different than recalling walking to school on a Tuesday.

To call a man cap for remembering his own life and his mother's life is crazy. On the flip he has probably told this story over and over and remembers more as he goes. None of your parent were Griselda Blanco. Let him be

Actually that’s not how it works. The more you tell a story the more you add on to it. You forget more as life goes on and then you think you remember something but it’s a mix of different memories that remind you of each one. So you eventually think that was part of the story. This is why people always say “I think this happened…” or “if I remember correctly…”. As you get older your memory shortens it never grows.

Oh wow. Just like the Escobar story..... they didn't really "catch" Griselda, she allowed them to capture her so that Michael doesn't suffer any further. She had the chance to leave the night before, but for Michael, that little boy had been fleeing from state to state, she wasn't putting him through it again. Escobar did the same for his kids/family, and they said that he shot himself in the ear, they didn't really catch him either. He gave himself up so that his family no longer had to suffer.

People remember traumatic events. I remember a car wreck ,in Germany, when my dad was stationed there. I was 5. I don't remember anything else.

@@djoffawestwest1103 That's what I said he was a side piece. He went to VladTv and his whole interview was about somebody else. You must be the one mad because nobody said a thing about him on that Netflix thing. Even Escobar mistress had a bigger part on his shows. Don't be mad. Accept the truth. Half of these dudes you think are big on your block aren't big outside. It's not my fault your streets got ruled by Italians and Latinos. You never had the power to stand tall on your own country.
