I'm a hillbilly from Eastern KY, that's spot on. From my experience black men don't have the luxury of being able to ignore bullshit from an early age. The game is rigged against black men in this country. The powers that be want us to be arguing over things that really don't matter black etcetera. What really matters, is rich and poor The haves and have nots. Because I'm telling you growing up a sign of a coal miner in Eastern Kentucky is very similar to growing up a young black man. I've been discriminated against my entire life by folks in positions of power. Class and where I was born is what mattered. Not my skin color. Can you imagine all the stuff that went on at Hearst Castle in 20's, 30s, (prohibition) 40s and 50s. It was in the middle of nowhere, just like J. Epsteins Island. Hollywood and Royalty from other countrys hung out there.

Which one, though?
To me, it all boils down to price. Money. All the BS about well, for the community, for my people, I don't need a Black man debasing himself for money, then saying I'm who he did it for. Stand on bizness. You did it for the money. 💯🎯‼️
Outstanding Interview.
Keeping an eye on this channel. Refreshing to hear wisdom.
Flip Wilson...lamenting what he suspected Black people "may" have thought about him, ...putting on a dress: "That was his personal pain. And he took that to his grave." Powerful. The things we do; all in the name of "Art".

Wow,what insight into the behind the scenes reality. “killer won’t like that” jogged my memory of Flip Wilson skits & “the Devil made me do it” laughter of his character “Geraldine”.

Very, very good content....Thank you for being responsible in your post about our people. You can't expose somethin that everyone knows, we've known forever what goes on over there, but we just don't want to fully accept it and even if we do WHO ACTUALLY STOPS WATCHING THE MOVIES DIRECTED BY & FEATURING THESE MONSTERS??🤔🤔

@@NativeSon60 Indeed t.v. is a bane in the american culture that many are addicted and infatuated with yet won't, can't and or refuse to admit. It's idolatry at it's worst. Some folk even worship fiction and shun reality. I've never been a big fan of the television. Music and radio has always and still is my favorite form of media. Media can also be expressed as an acronym for; M- ost E- effective D- evil I- n A- merica
