Michael Corleone Blanco: My Brother Osvaldo Wasn't Killed By Escobar, Here's What Happened (Part 15)

Part 16: • Michael Corleone Blanc...
Part 1: • Michael Corleone Blanc...
--------
Michael Corleone Blanco clarifies that contrary to circulating rumors, his brother Osvaldo was not killed by infamous drug lord Pablo Escobar. Instead, Blanco recounts, tensions escalated when Osvaldo, returning to Colombia after being released from prison, tarnished Escobar's reputation at a club, drawing the ire of the cartel members present. However, he adds, this was only part of the narrative; the real drama unfolded over a dispute with the member of the Los Pepes/Doŕa Martí's cartel, whom Osvaldo had offended in the club. Blanco further notes that his mother, Griselda Blanco, had strong affiliations with both the Cali cartel and Escobar's enterprises during their heyday. Osvaldo, leveraging these connections, moved up in Colombia's drug underworld, causing further friction. Blanco stated that Osvaldo's murder was a result of a drug deal gone awry when Matisse, another cartel member, ordered the hit after Osvaldo allegedly threatened to kill him.

Then you're wrong. You see Griselda was an 'employee' for the Ochoa brothers. Meaning they became the unspoken political power behind the thrown that was really more trouble than it was worth because they already made a lot money quietly. The product sold to her moved on their ships through their international ports. All she ever did was wait for someone else to deliver it. Escobar started out as a small time cigarette smugger. Thats why he learned to how to move the product himself. Griselda never had her own currier service that could move that much weight in such a short amount of time whatsoever. She wasnt some victim in a mans world. She brought all the unnecessary attention to white collar legitimate businesses and prestigious fronts. The real truth is every time she crossed the line with business relationships which was constantly Ochoa had to smooth it over. He cut her off for turning into a tryflin lunatic that brought too much attention. Her sloppy crew was basically murder inc with no legitimate businesses begging for more product and attacking actual sophisticated smugglers that contracted mercenaries like hers.

Griselda put Escobar in the game why would her kids bow down to him Escobar didn’t have the routes that she had already established before he even got started and she had the Peruvian flake plug that was established back in the early 70s Escobar actually purchased the smuggling routes from Griselda to get going on his own. If you think her kids were about to bow down to a person that she put in the game you’re crazy and she didn’t have a boss, RAFA and the Ochoa‘s they were not her bosses, we’re talking about a woman who was her own boss and established her own routes. That was a multi millionaire in the 70s. And then, when she opened up shop in Florida, she became a billionaire.
