When I heard Michael Clarke Duncan had passed away I watched The Green Mile as a tribute to him. Now it's taking on a different feeling. Yes you're right , Michael Clarke Duncan was BORN to play that role which will live on forever. I can't see anyone else playing that role. I'm tired Boss, dog tired.

RIP Michael Clarke Duncan, he seemed like a really nice bloke. Not to mention he has given one of the best performances in one of the best films ever made

Seems like the interviewer had his impression of Micheal before he even met him and was shocked by his poised demeanor and purity but he just kept smiling and paid it no mind. I just finished watching The Green Mile for the first time and it’s very upsetting to know he’s deceased in real life. I got so sucked into the story and his character, and it was just emotional watching his death scene knowing that he’s actually passed. Fuck man that movie moved me

Imagine being so great in a supporting role, that everytime people think about your movie, you are the first thing that comes to their minds. Still cant believe he didnt get the Oscar...
