WelcomeTo Life most fans are clueless. Manutd were so successful in 2007-2012 and Carrick was a crucial part of that success. And England never had the balls to bench gerard/ lampard for this playmaker

Verb plural it drove me nuts. Manutd didnt win the league for 3-4 seasons in the mid 2000s and in 2006-2007 they finally won playing probably the best football they ever played and guess who was the sole signing before the season started? Michael Carrick. I remember getting frustrated at how utd play before that but immediately Carrick provided that control in midfield and utd players started playing fluid attacking football. Playing gerrard and lampard at the same time in midfield was just silly sillyy.. ridiculous.

Michael Carrick in place of Steven Gerrard for the Three Lions and England would have at least won a European Championship!

Carrick's midfield dictations were just an artistry of pure romance. SAF really used him well. And I think Pep Guardiola would have loved to have him. He is Pep's type of CDM

Bro we have player like Carrick in EPL and that is Ruben Neves that's why for last 5 months iam begging to please sign him .

Both footed Carrick with his quick thinking skill is so amazing. He play one touch football the most and rarely hold balls more than 5 sec. Most of his passes was so accurate and unpredictable. He need to teach this to mctominay and fred on the training pitch.

the most underrated midfielder in EPL history. Everyone says that RVP was the reason for our 2013 title, but lets not forget that Carrick was our best outfield player and most consistent one.

You are definitely the best Utd's account i've come upon on. The way you arranged the player's ability in the video, like critical pass, through pass, long pass, interception, tackling, shooting etc, i can clearly see it in the video. And the best thing i love is when you included the commentaries, and praise from others to the Utd's player in the video. You've set a benchmark for me when i'm watching other players' compilation video. Absolutely love your videos man.

@@MochiC_ i dont exactly remember my 1st video. Probably either 'Three Lungs Park' or 'De Gea's compilation saves'. While De Gea's videos when he won POTS for 3 seasons were all great, but the 'Three Lungs Park' video were so unique for me that i can identify his video were taken by other account, even when the watermark was erased. Lol.

I love this. As a kid watching him, I felt so calm whenever he was on the ball and could never explain why I rated him higher than many other fan favourites. He’s an exquisite player, metronomic in his consistency and priceless in his reliability. I would so gladly have him in any team today. To show how instrumental Carrick was to United’s success: United hadn’t won the league for 3 years. Sir Alex signed Carrick in the summer of 2006, and United went on to win 3 league titles and a UCL from 2006-2009 and Carrick was in the starting XI with Scholes. He also scored a crucial penalty in the penalty shootout against Chelsea in the 08 UCL final.

It's almost criminal how underutilized he was for England. 5 PL Titles, an FA Cup, a Champions League, and a Europa League and only 34 caps for England and only 1 at a major tournament. Ridiculous.

Honestly that pass at 1:50 is just something else. It's absolute perfection. If a Brazilian did that it would never stop being spoken about. The thought process in that short space of time. Every England manager who never played him needs to hang their heads in shame because he was one of the best midfielders this country has ever seen.

His best attributes were always looking for that forward pass thru the lines and keeping the pressure on when the opposing defenders cleared he just passed it back into a danger area. I'm all teary. At English so called golden generation, there were so many famous midfielders. But, There was only ONE working English-midfield system back then, that was in United

masterpiece and a beautiful tribute to Carrick. loved him play so calm and easy.

Watching this video, gave me chills, having Carrick in the team now would make us so much more consistent and defensively sound
