I wish he got more roles in cinema with elite directors. Maybe his disease got in the way. Unfortunately, it seems like the train is gone now and that his name won’t come up in the minds of big producers. At least we have his rock band now.

I really loved Safe and honestly he did a fantastic job there... but FUUUUUUCK he's always gonna be dexter.

Cleopatra Anthony I couldn't tell the account was bad....but the plot waa dumb. So formulaic.. like, we'll make you think it's this guy but it's not. Then the next episode we'll make you think it's this one. Surprise, it's actually the harmless guy introduced at the beginning. But I did enjoy seeing Michael in a series again.

Blake B Felt the same way about the plot. The twists and turns with the family; where the boy was found in their pool was so dumb. The police also looked dumb as they hardly investigated anything. The whole series felt badly manufactured.

I was so sad when they stopped saying this. I think it was either season 6 or 7. They show Dexter driving in his car (with the pink lights instead of green) getting ready to go slaughter somebody and I’m just sitting there like “tonight’s the night... tonight’s the night..” and it never happened! They just straight up 86’d the best part of the show. Lol.

Michael C. Hall is as good at an interview as he is as a character. Come on, he has unreal talent. Honestly, him as a person must be is greatest role. He's actually a god.

I totally destroyed the first season of ‘Safe’. I was hesitant to watch it but Michael has built up so much credibility with me. He’s just so amazing. And the show was beautiful. From wardrobe to location. Editing and post. Great great stuff.

It's amazing how he played dexter for 8 seasons.I am assuming 6-7 yrs of consistently playing the same character. Damn he maintained it so well till end. This guy is a talent!!!!

He's my favorite "DARK AVENGER".

Dexter and 6 Feet Under had super-cool intros. I think the only other one that I loved was from the Sopranos. I never tried to get past those sequences. Yes, they all had super-amazing actors, the best scripts, and all sorts of things about which I have no right to comment. I was amazed by all. And grateful.

I wouldn't watch a spin-off, and I'm glad the show ended when it did. Every concept has a shelf life, and I'm glad they didn't keep doing the show until people started to hate it. I'll quote the late Johnny Carson. When asked why he was leaving "The Tonight Show", he responded by saying "I'd rather have people ask 'Why did you quit?' rather than 'Why didn't you quit?'". -- DEXTER SPOILER ALERT -- I don't hate how "Dexter" ended, but it could have been better. Personally, I think the only fitting ending to a show like that is for him to die. Not because he killed so many people, and there had to be some sort of justice. But only because the show is so dark that him dying seems like the best way to end it. I think he should have been caught, convicted, and electrocuted, but many people would have morned for him -- including the justice system that killed him.

I want Harrison to follow his grandfather's and aunt's footsteps and he is a detective back in Miami, he gets the echos of his fathers past and then is pulled into a search for him, but end of episode 2, you are getting a hint that he is more like his father than he ever thought. Torn between his father's method of vengeance and his own grounded sense of justice.

This is an unexpectedly brilliant interview.

I've seen all of Safe that has been released and it is pretty good!

Michael c hall is the best, he would be great in any role he plays, the makers of Dexter commited a big blunder by ending Dexter mostly because of salary issues the producers had with Michael. I surely know he's gonna do great playing the role of Tom in the New TV series 'safe'.

I can't be the only one who feels the coldness of a long blade when Hall speaks

I watched Safe and it was good. It was nice to see him and his friend acting like Myron and Win. I think that's something that was missing from The Five.

Michael C. Hall is a great actor. Iconic roles are like a brand. Look at people like Molly Ringwald. It took her forever to move past the John Hughes films of the 1980s. That said, if you have the skills and hang in there long enough, then another good role will come along.

Watched every single episode of Dexter. Finished binge watching the first season of Safe. When is more stuff with Michael Hall coming out? BTW Safe is worth watching. Although I don’t think it surpasses Dexter. Safe is more like a darker version of Desperate Housewives. And Michael’s British accent was kinda funny.

I've seen six feet under years ago and it was one of my all time favorite. It's definitely different from everything else at the time. Even today the idea would be considered edgy and original. Thanks guys for sharing! 😄❤️
