Well said
I was in full nostalgia mode talking with him. He's in so many of my favourites!
michael biehn is awesome very underrated actor
Very underrated in T1. Still one of my favorite movies to this day.
Excellent interview Michael. I appreciate the fact that Michael Biehn kept it real he seems like a very non pretentious guy. And I liked your interviewing style, being the fan that you are you kept cool and got an excellent interview. I've seen entertainment reporter's interview a celebrities and ruin it by acting star struck!
I remember watching this ex amount of years ago. Time flies. Still, happy you had this opportunity. Michael Biehn has always been my number one action star/actor. Hope you're well man truly. Thank you for your content
I always loved Michael Biehn and his role choices. They say 'don't meet your heroes' but he seems like a genuinely nice guy and loves everything about his job.

I always love seeing this actor in movies, event if a movie might be bad, he makes it good.
Watching this in 2019 and still enjoying Micheal very much.
Terminator, Aliens and Tombstone are fantastic films that I have in my collection, and Kyle Reese, Cpl. Hicks and Johnny Ringo are memorable characters. Well done Michael Biehn I wish you have good projects soon. Very good interview Michael Mercy.

Sergio Ramón Rodríguez Cajiga Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I had fun chatting with him too, great guy! @michaelmercy
David Fincher is not to blame for Hicks death he didn't write the script the director was brought in late into production after Vincent Ward was fired. "fuck alien 3" LOL
Mr Tarrantino please just cast Michael Biehn in your next film
Happy Birthday Michael Biehn. UR amazing legend, man. The Terminator, The Rock, Aliens, Aliens Colonial Marines, Planet Terror, Star Wars The Mandalorian, and Tombstone is awesome. Love it. Terminator and The Rock and Aliens kick-ass. I never thought he would be on The Mandalorian. He must of watch Star Wars long time ago, I mean everybody does, I didn't! I was born in May, 1995. I love all Star Wars movies, The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch, The Book of Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, Visions. And all the Terminator movies. Aliens, too. May the Peace be with u Kyle Reese. From Harlingen Texas. July 31, 1956 July 31, 2022 through July 31, 3022
I bet he's also thinking "Fuck Aliens: Colonial Marines!"
And Dwayne Hicks...and Johnny Ringo...and Commander Anderson... :)
LOVE his opinion of Alien 3 at the 2:00 mark! Priceless. And, I agree.
Thanks!
Johnny Ringo from Tombstone is my favorite from Biehn!!!

Great interview guys.....
Great interview guys.
Cool interview. Michael's the man
I love this guy!!! You just answered my big question: whether Biehn would return to Aliens and Terminator! Woo! I even wrote Aliens scripts and thinking of writing a Terminator script which involves the return of Dwayne Hicks and Kyle Reese.
It's just unreal how all these actors I grew up watching are getting so much older. Michael Biehn is, from what I've seen, 100% all business. That's a good thing.

Ok
Real class act and really great with his fans.
fantastic stuff!
He plays Johnny Ringo, the #2 baddie. Kilmer's his huckleberry. ;)
I got one for ya.....Michael Biehn and Clint Eastwood....both are next door neighbors. One served in the Army, the other in the Navy. A comedy in which the entire film puts one against the other to prove which branch is better. Perhaps a family setting in which both have grown kids who occasionally come over to play cards, and sarcastic comments made during the card game to "prove" their case.
Mercy has this grin on his face the entire interview. lol total excitement mode!
My favorite interview Michael did was on regards to pinewood studios about using him for a chest burster. Wish that was on KZread.
Amen to that!
Excellent interview Micheal! I woulda pissed in my pants.
MARINES WE ARE LEAVING!!- hicks
Sums up my feelings on the movie perfectly. :)
Tombstone's a must, along with a bunch of other classic westerns like Good, the Bad and the Ugly and High Plains Drifter.
Aliens and Terminator were his best films.
I liked him in planet terror too. Good interview.
Yes Indeed! haha, He agreed to appear in one of our youtube vids when he's in our area next with some free time. Hope that actually happens soon!
I'm trying, I've communicated with the Big Biehn's wife but they are SUPER busy. My Aliens story retcons 3 and 4 like they never happened with Newt and Hicks as the leads. However my idea for T5, retcons 3 and 4 like Star Trek did, where after so many changes to the timeline a new Kyle appears like Spock, that way all 4 movies can still be considered canon while rewriting the continuity. You guys are awesome by the way.
Wait, he was in Tombstone? Holy crap, I've got to go watch that again. I did not recognise him.
Yeah, The Rock is a must!
What about it? We talked about it right there in the video.
El único actor que fue capaz de hacerle frente a un terminator de verdad. De ahí que fue mi ídolo y nunca lo olvidé, actorazo mal valorado por hollywood, espero que cameron lo vuelva a contratar o en predicator haga un papel inolvidable.
It certainly was.
he is my one of favorites actors for sure are you going to review the rock or some flicks with sean connery like the hunt for red october ???????
Great interview with some excellent questions for Michael I especially liked the question about him returning to the aliens franchise which I'm so happy to hear that he would play hicks again, it gives me hope lol you know I remember going to see alien 3 at the cinema and was so pissed off that he wasn't in it that really hurt a lot because I thought hicks was a brilliant character understated and not your usual stereotypical action hero, fuck alien 3 and fuck cgi it doesn't feel real there's something about using models and practical effects which has a physical realism that you can't fake
I never knew that that character was Micheal Biehn in the abyss
niceee
Wow. I've seen Tombstone a couple dozen times, and never once when watching Terminator or Abyss did I think, "Hey, it's that guy from Tombstone!" He's so immersed in the part of Ringo that I don't notice the actor. Kinda like Robert Duvall for me: I don't recognise him in Apocalypse Now as the same guy from Godfather or Secondhand Lions. Will you review Tombstone? My Best Parts for that movie would take a few comment blocks to write out.
I want a Lincol and Wreck It Ralph review NOW
True Commander Anderson was my most memorable hero in that Rock movie, maybe cos he truly had that KYLE REESE air.. yeah Michael is an very awesome underrated talent, will always love him for best incarnation possible of both Kyle reese & HICKS, but I did enjoy that Michael-fuck bay appraise he did too him .......... sigh
I didn't even recognize him in the abyss @ first
just imagine michael biehn under the cowl, ed harris as mr freeze.
"Somebody wake up Pam...err...Hicks." :)
Awesome! Pass them on to Biehn and hopefully he'll pass it on to James Cameron. :)
They are actually talking about a new Aliens 3 with Biehn as Cpl Hicks!!!! I am upset to hear that Biehn is getting the old man voice :( growing up I always looked up to Biehn ' s roles. From Kyle Reese, Cpl Hicks, The Abyss, Johnny Ringo in Tombstone, Commander Anderson etc. Just always had a natural leader voice. Sucks to hear it it fade.... Granted I'm sure if he laid into it he probably would have an angry chiseled vet voice...

Have you heard him in blood dragon?
me encanta, lo amo, lo encuentro que está muy delgado, igual es rico,.,cuando joven le encontraba un parecido con Luis Miguel...
Hicks came to earth with Newt and Ripley. Period
Oh yeah fuck Alien 3!!! I hated what they did to especially Hicks.
PAY HIM TO DO A NEW TERMINATOR!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Needs to be a new meme. :)
Ahh fuck Alien 3. :)
Je ne parle pas Francais. ;) ~Mercy
Spanish!
lol
Fo sho. Didn't think I'd get to even meet him, let alone shoot the shit and record and interview. FUCK ALIEN 3! :)
best movie was the Divide
Michael had it right: "BLEEP ALIEN 3"!!!! Terrible piece of trash!
why he always gotta die in every movie he in?!?
