Sitting down with Dallas' defense ahead of some big NFC match ups, the guys are breaking down the Cowboys surprising start this season and where the team is headed from here. Linebacker, Micah Parsons has been a stronghold on defense and the cornerstone of the team along with Trevonn Diggs who has been a leader in the lockerroom and on the field.
After starting quarterback, Dak Prescott was sidelined with injury week 1, The Cowboys rallied the team and have won 4 straight games against tough NFL opponents to become a team everyone is watching. With their NFC East rival sitting atop the NFC and the only undefeated team in the league, the Cowboys team knows they have a tough road ahead to get where they want to be come January.
Both Diggs and Parsons, acknowledge back up quarterback Cooper Rush has helped them win games but are very vocal on Dak's mentality and leadership throughout his entire injury. Everybody on the team rides for Dak, it's no QB controversy. When Diggs got beat for a touch down last year against the Vikings, Dak was the one on the sidelines coaching him up.

I wants to see the Diggs brothers face off in the SB so bad. I’m a Cowboys fan just one of the rare realistic ones. I think y’all would win but it would still be a sight to see those two brothers embrace before and after the game. Win win for little man. Get to celebrate with dad or uncle no matter what. Stefon did such a good job filling in as the male role model of the family after their dad passed. Tre wouldn’t be who he is without the guidance of yalls star wideout. Both are great dudes.

Micah is my favorite player since Emmitt. He's mature well beyond his years, and insanely focused, which you just don't see from many young players these days.

Man….. I’m an Eagles fan, but Micah is that dude. After that loss against the Cardinals in week 17 he was like the only Cowboys player that talked after the game and didn’t blame the refs. He’s just built different. He’s got that mamba mentality and as a Lakers and Eagles fan (like Kobe) that grew up on Kobe as his favorite player…. Man it hurts. Cowboys got a special special player and person. Trevon is cool too. I’ve probably heard his son talk more. They are so much alike though.
After this interview, we need to get both Diggs on the podcast together!
