People hate him because he have no moral fiber. He's sociopath or psychopath. Gang is outlaw but they take care of each other, even when they kill someone they still have emotional bond with someone else. Micah is 0. When you will meet pathological lier like narcissist, sociopath or psychopath in your real life, than you will know why people hate him so much.

Not only was a human life not cared or thought as special as it is today but people didn't care when people died (this was the time where puplic hanging was a thing) people didn't care if people died it was just the normal in America at the time hints the name wild West this made outlaws that is what dutchs gang is it doesn't matter what they think they are or that the reason what they do is right to the law and the people of 1899 they where outlaws. He is even more amazing if you actually do a little thinking. Milton’s words and being a massive jerk towards Arthur are the only things linking him to a rat. He was there in every major shootouts til the very end. Also, calling someone a rat is a major taboo among outlaws, of course Micah is gonna want to kill him for it by the end.

Not even nearly true? Even low honour Arthur helped people escape from the gang and absolved debts. Arthur never ratted out the whole gang and never shot any of his fellow gang members. Even low honour Arthur objected to Dutch's wrongdoings. Arthur was definitely a better person.

Lenny was right, after Micah's death, John gave his marriage party.

Micah is the kind of character that's fun to play, terrible to play against

Micah is the darkest side of humanity, Arthur is the light side... but he starts in the gray

I liked Micah. He was the only one with good comebacks for Arthur's antagonizing, one of the few who had a sober view of Dutch from the beginning (still ended up falling for him though), and he called out the gang on a lot of things. I don't think he was the rat, it just doesn't make sense. Why would he rat them out if he was going to stay loyal to Dutch? Oh yeah and he killed Grimshaw.

Ok, so you completely missed the story... Let's get things straight... He is a piece of shit.. he's extremely racist, he is dishonorable when he kills, even going so far to kill a little girl.... And he was waiting and planning for their downfall from the start... With him holding a wanted poster at his camp near strawberry... However he is smart enough to recognize that there was still a lot of solidarity in the gang... Until over time, and with Pinkerton help... He slowly breaks them, makes them split apart... And when Dutch starts to lose himself, he takes advantage of that He wasn't loyal to Dutch.... If he was simply loyal to Dutch then he wouldn't be wouldn't be constantly saying things to actively drive the group apart, like constantly question Morgans loyalty, or recommend "cutting off the dead weight"

Besides that, the talk of a rat in the gang started with the botched bank robbery (or I guess even the Boat heist that happened pre-game), which was before Micah was captured after they got back from Guarma.

Ill never not notice how Micah hesitates to shoot Arthur on the hill, you can even hear him build up the courage in the moment when he grits his teeth and lets out a strained growl. Micah was real interesting, his past, his ideology, and his way of life. Despite being as cruel as he is and how much he had it in for Arthur, i wonder why he found it a bit hard to pull the trigger immediately. Maybe if Dutch hadnt gone crazy Micah would’ve eventually changed into a valued member of the gang.

We hated Micah, but I say we blame the actor. He did well acting Micah and really deserved some more awards.

I Like Micah. He's my favourite character from rdr2 along with Arthur but He is evil and he is the betrayer, he's badass, but he's obviously the rat because why would Milton say exactly Micah? Micah seemed suspicious from the beginning and he turned out to be the one and also why would Milton lie? Arthur was gonna get killed, Abigail was tied up. And Micah literally wanted to kill Arthur and he did in one the endings. He also manipulated Dutch as u all can see and as every mission progressed u could clearly see he was trying to kill all of the gang members slowly so he could run away with Dutch. There's no denying that. Also the info and the description and plot of the game itself say that Micah Bell III is the main antagonist and villain

So, why did Abigail kill Milton if she had a deal with him? If she wanted to escape with her son. She would do that. However, it's could be a plot hole. Because speech about traiters started along before Guarma. But it's strange that Milton started to cooperate with Mr. Bell after the Caribbean. But we have a good point that Micah could cooperate with O'driscols boys. Colm planned to capture Arthur and, after that, to give the Dutch to Pinkertons. Micah could also be a "traitor" before the story. But the words of Milton strange.

Sigma ain't about being top of the food chain , its more about the self, and in case Artur Morgan , Micah knowing his flaws and not taking risk killing Arthur when he is in is prime instead using him (why waste a fine milking cow , use it for milk then send it to Slaughter house ) but plunging at him at the perfect opportunity for victory is such a smart calculated move ,which dumb Artur Morgan and his dumber fans can never understand , Micah isn't a a idiot as for analogy Micah like a lion and a smart one at that , he knows to go after his prey "a bull elephant" when it's in its prime, but the moment the elephant breaks its fucking leg the elephants dying , but Artur Morgan is dumber version of Micah bell arthur would prolly go to kill a bull elephant cz he thinks he superior n sh , just like his fans think he is and get stomped to death , purely out of ignorance.

Micah was just a lunatic who existed outside the law There is a difference... Heres an example... Effectively Dutch saw that the law shouldn't deem people as unequal to others... That everyone is equal... And that everyone should be free to do whichever they may with their lives... Micah would Just murder black people because he felt them as inferior to him... And he DOES think the government oppressing them is a good thing.... Micah is a fucking reactionary

​​@@Sergazz nah, he's just overall piece of s@!t. Well-written, 2-dimensional though, no redeeming qualities apart from 'the survivor' gag, charismatic in a way, designed to be despicable. I mean he's supposed to be hated. Would love to have dlc with him, but at the same time wouldn't, the story is more mysterious without Micah's past
