Hello. Can I ask you about reseting? I use blucon and I find myself reseting it alot because it's very slow in connecting. Also it's for my son and he moves alot out of the bluetooth rage so it disconnects, that's why I need to reset it to connect it. So my question is: does miao miao 1 or 3 take a long time to connect to Bluetooth when it disconnects? What about reseting it? Will it be faster to connect it if we reset it?

Very comprehensive explanation. Have you done a comparison of XDrip, Tomato, Glimp etc?

Will this work with the skin grip?

Since the battery capacity is so different, I wonder about how long the bluetooth can reach on both. I think it is an important difference.

Can the MM1 be stuck to the skin over the top alone? or does it have to be stuck directly to the skin using the double-sided tape? I don't have any stickers with my MM1 and am wanting/wondering if I can just stick it down over the top with tape?

Always love your videos, very informative. Would like to try the MM3, but afraid it wouldn't work. I got the MM1 and it don't work with US Libre2. Wasted $100. Don't really want to chance that again.

Hello guys, Miao miao 3 has just arrived..! I would like to purchase a smartwatch as well, in order to get my blood sugar measurements much easier all the time.. Is there something i should be aware of? Are there any compatibility issues with any brand or i could go and purchase any smartwatch i like??

On the MiaoMiao website is the following warning: "May not fit with freestyle libre 2 in SA,FR,AU,NZ,CA,US and UK. You can contact online service staff to confirm that." I'm in the US so should I not even bother (since it may not work)? And do either the MiaoMiao 1 or 3 work with the Freestyle Libre 3 (in the US)? Contacting the MiaoMiao support is takes days, and their response is not always clear. Again, this would be for a US purchase. Any insight? Thanks!

Yes. That is a good point. I pointed this out in my MM3 review and shared my thoughts on who might benefit from MM3 vs who doesn’t really need it (depending on region and FSL 3 availability for example). Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts!

Great video, but after struggling with MM1 over a month, which eventually didn't work at all. Why to give a chance to MM3?

Hard for me to comment. We have to keep in mind it is an "off label" soluction not approved for medical use and those typically struggle a bit more than the approved ones...

Tom. I have been unable to use my MiaoMiao1 on the Freestyle Libre2. It worked on the 1. I’ve been told there’s a data update for the 1 so it can be used on the L2 but it’s only available on Android phones not IOS Apple products. Also they say the MM3 will not work on the L2. I live in Canada. Is this information correct? Is there an update so the MM1 will work on the L2? Thanks.

Tom, first of all, congratulations for the great video. I have a question. I like to go to the beach. I don’t stay for long time under water, but maybe some times around 20 min. Do you think the MM3 is more recommended than MM1 based on specification or MM1 would work well too ?

In fact I would like to use FSL3, but I don’t have any expectation of ANVISA (Brazil) to approve it soon. I sent an e-mail to Abbott questioning about the intention of to submit the FSL3 to approve in Brazil. They didn’t answer me so far …

I am new to the freestyle libre 2 and am wondering if anyone can help me out. I'm an android user and the alarms are crazy loud. I have to turn them completely off when I'm at work. I forget to turn them back on and it's just not been helpful with monitoring my blood sugars. I got a samsung galaxy watch 4 hoping I could just get high and low alerts sent to that instead of my phone. I don't know how to get it working. So far it goes off on my phone and watch. Anyone able to help?

with the advant of FSL3 you wont need this because FSL3 has continuous readings. MM should make a digital reader for older patients that don't want to use cell phones

I trusted this device mm3. But not fully happy with it. 1. In Tomato app, Follower doesn't work. 2. Not in android playstore. So risky? 3. Tomato Not compatible with smart watches. Android watches right now. 4. A nfc based Glimp is able to collect entire graph between last reading n now. But mm gets only the current spot reading when it reconnects. 5. Tomato has option to link only Tomato watch Request: if you could address the above drawbacks to mm. It will help 1000s of Type1 kids out there, who seeks remote monitoring solutions as schools have reopened. Trust me, the demand is huge n mm knows that! Positive: I managed to live with it via nightscout for remote monitoring

I would rather just scan with phone. I like minimal attachments to my body

The continuous system can wake you up at night so you don't spend a full 6 hour period with high blood sugar. You can also have nothing attached to your body by measuring from a blood sample using stripes.
