Narutotrickzxtv 3D the issue is that elementless weapons are too generic and would be the only things anyone would want to get for a lot of weapon types. They’ve been meta for a long time and it seems like Iceborne is trying to make things more interesting by emphasizing elements and statuses.

well it sad..but unlike older title..mhw is very easy to farm mat..100+ hrs in i already have decent all purpose endgame build for all DB elemental..compared to older title..this game is easier to progress thx to capcom eliminating farming for items and stuff so we can focus on equipment..

Currently it's tempered Teostra which it's quite easy, spam it asap before 24th because it will be change into lunastra which it's way harder than teostra. 3-6 sealed feystones... Good if you wanna farm for r 12 decos like Expert + and Attack +.

Something really cool with HH is that Extended health recovery can heal the damage done by Safi's armor set. Heals pretty quickly too!

Most of the HH song types have several levels including Kirin songs so you don't have to a lightning HH if you want to buff your lightning resistance.

Velkana armor set

One thing about this siege that is better than Kulve is that we don't have to chase him around like idiots and shoot cannonballs at him. And farming for dracolite is not that hard unless you want to upgrade every weapon you've gotten to the max. And you can also restart the game and start rolling for awakened abilities again if you got bad luck with your previous roll as long as you don't save.

That's what I do with my upgrades pretty much. If I've spent too much dracolites on a single weapon I just restart the game. And it also works with the rewards. If you got a weapon that you don't like you can always restart the game

You can't get multiple defense upgrades But we have augments if we combine a max level defence and max defence augment we will go pretty high I actually wanna try that after I am done with my other builds :)

Not seen it anywhere. But when Safi is slayed you get the quest rewards before going to the hub, and skills like Kirins Great Luck SHOULD, not saying it does since I have not tested it, increase the rewards in the end screen. That may give some extra of the upgrade materials since you can get some there as well. Going go test this theory later but thought I might just point it out here if anyones interested.

With them specifying that Safi is in the guiding lands, when you talk to the seeker for Stygian he says two new areas in the guiding lands are found, I really hoped that the first two dracolite rarities could be found in the guiding lands. His energy seeping into them as he tried to terraform them basically. One big tip that I found to get extra dracolite is use the melder. You can turn extra Safi Jiiva material into random awakened weapons which you can then turn into 1 large dracolite each at the melder

also, if you have weapons that start at level 4, getting them to level 6 by slotting in another 2 star ability, which costs 8 dracolites, lets you turn it into 2 large dracolite at the melder instead of just 1. so you get an extra 12 dracolite out of it.

I want to add that Attack melody III is the Deviljho melody for HH, you can’t go back after getting attack IV melodies , I made the mistake of assuming IV was better when upgrading and it might be for you but I prefer the more supportive route with HH like Defense Up XL

addendum to the "I don't get X setbonus to show up": IF you want a set bonus on your weapon focus on it first, upgrades showing up means 1 slot less for a set to show up. I checked for Srath bonus on DBs several times, even one affinity and a throwaway set bonus lowered the odds of it showing up by a lot, it also keeps the points you need to roll lower, meaning less grinding. So, always go for set bonuses first, THEN take stats you want no matter what level, and upgrade from there.

Id say its going to be more than 2000 if you want to get more than one of the same weapon or weapons from different weapon trees to make support, fun, ridiculous etc... builds and i love that i dont think ill get tired very quickly with this siege as it takes like 2 runs to finish it with 4 groups and its fun because the monster isnt boring

Hunting Horn setups are now drastically altered from their originals as well, as having poison on a horn with attack up is phenomenal.

I noticed the draw-without-putting-back mechanism with the upgrade awakenings, but I couldn’t explain as clear as you do to my friends (I think I said something like “reducing the pool size”) and they were like “oh sorry I don’t get it”. It ended up I’ve finished fully awakening 6 dbs and 1 ls while they’re still on their way grinding for the first or second weapon cuz they don’t get a lv5. I’ll share this video to them.

With the barrioth GS with full crit augments and custom mods(i don't use greatsword so I'm assuming exclusively by design it gets them) crit eye lvl 7 and attack boost lvl 3 you hit 100% affinity if it doesn't actually get custom mods it hits 95%

im going sharp 6, attk 5 x2 and element 5 x2 for all my sns, 100% affinity is easy enough with safi armour set + weakness exploit + 1 point of crit eye.

I used to use Hornetaur lance for 140 hits of purple. I now have a Safi lance with 220 and counting. Thanks, Safi'jiiva!

If you get the weapon you wanted you can take the others to the melder and make it into Drakenite which you can use for upgrades. Heard of it didin't try it so take it with a grant of salt.

For Gunner related content, check out Phemeto's channel. He's the go to person for bowguns and bows. TLDR version, just quituple stack element on every bow, and run the same old silver rath set.

You forgot to mention you can also get spirit and strength boost for insect glaive. ( Which is the best one, and rarely shows up )

Odogaron weapons have in the last upgrade 35 affinity and with affinity arguments and attack 4 can get 100 affinity

That is a good one, still one piece of "advice" (depends really on how much are you willing to grind) affinity V, gives you +10%, so if you can get the augment (or even want to get it) you should replace that with another attack V, just a thought.

@@masakoakashittv I didn't know the top ability was always an upgrade and the other two were "add" abilities. I've been storing potential trying to get rare abilities when my weapon had only one or two equipped. I should have been filling slots and just upgrading. Also I've wasted a lot of dracolite trying to get wide shelling lvl 7 when it doesn't exist.

Click right stick with bow drawn to switch to slinger. Then press Y and B/Triangle and Circle. Boom: Thousand Dragons. It also fires your equipped slinger ammo I believe. Have fun. :)

My approach to most Safi weapons is: Affinity Increase V, Attack Increase V, Element/Status Up V, Sharpness V, and Sharpness VI.

I can say recoil mod on the HBG is really really rare. It took me a while to get one.

My advice is to "rig" the system. It wants to provide you upgrades for stuff you have, so grab the lower star value bowgun upgrades like deviation and the chances of the higher value upgrade like Recoil will be more likely. Then you simply replace deviation with it, since you can't have more than one bowgun ability awakened.

Sharpness level that's supposed to be existed, such as Cyan (light blue /Lv.8), shiny pink (Lv.9), and Effervescent Crystal (Lv.10).

for safi elemental phial CB does the full element V,VI better than fully costumize element: Deep schnegel II (ice) Deep Terrior II (water) Glavenus Bardred (fire) Deathaxe Vaal Aspida (dragon) Despot's thundergale (thunder)

These weapons are pretty good even after the updates due to the awakened ability system they can be superior to things in some ways. I.e Raging brachy for blast vs saafi. Not in raw stats but the awakened ability thing to use a monster's power and customizability to fit in whatever way you want. Some of the weapons still are the best barring you know awaken element.

So incredibly disappointed that I can't stack the defense, was salivating at the idea of a 300+ defense Lance

IG can defly get teo's and there is also a kinsect upgrade to get power and spirit not just recovery

I personally always make sure to take at least one attack, defense and sharpness no matter what weapon it is.

I got ridiculously lucky for my weapon (SA). Shatteraxe 1st raid, fully upgraded 2nd raid (2x Sharpness V; Attack VI; 2x Attack V)

K so my awaken lvl is getting high on my SNS para and I have yet to see a status up ... is there such thing? I got plenty for my GL but none for SNS

Can someone explain about the awaken abilities with using perks from sets of armor (Vaal’s Soulvein, Gold Rath Essence, etc.). I’m not sure how this works, but does it grant that ability regardless of your armor and plays the same as Lunastra’s weapons, or do you need those armor pieces to awaken that ability? For example, wearing 4 pieces of Gold Rath, but have Vaal’s Soulvein perk on my awaken poison longsword?

I have every single KT weapon. It took me about 200 to 300 hours. And most of those hunt is not p1.

For Armor skill if you need it, i recommended to have multiple copies save game and then start Stored Potential until you got Armor Skill if you Stored Potential so high up and still not getting it just quit game dont save comeback and redo again with DIfferent Copies. im quite sure the Armor Skill RNG is Pre-determined. i often see the same Armor skill exact same position and so on and so on even after i change my Armor skill. so good luck farming multiple copies and try in out so you don't have to wasted so many god damn jesus Dracolite on single weapons cuz the Armor Skill roll is just like ELder Melder Decorations.
