It would surely not achieve anything, it's barely better than doing nothing. You say I can stop it. I've never had that power before. What grants me that power now? How do I weild it? Go and join protests against the Government. Become politicly active and join a party to make the change happen yourselve. Talk to your friends and family and spread these Ideas. Apathy is death. I really wish that this was playing, on a loop, in every public building, uni, school & mall in the country. We've *got* to get younger people involved, surgically remove them from their phones if need be. How do we get them to understand what rights & freedoms are being clawed away by this govt? This is *their* world now & they've got to learn to protect it from corrupt, self-serving, greedy politicians & their business overlords. Great speech. It’s exactly true, and the Tories just do not care. I hope that people stop ‘doffing the cap’ to the Tories and start realising what is going on. Rather than looking down on others, when people realise that ordinary people are all equal, we will look up at the establishment, and realise what they are doing is completely wrong and vote against them.

Mahairi Black is telling the brutal truth, point by point. It should be broadcast, repeated and discussed countrywide by all media, sadly it's not and even in Parliament the words of thruth are directed to empty Tory benches. Thanks for sharing it here.

This the first time I've been aware of this brilliant and inspiring politician. Mhairi Black's speech is astonishing, but is also frightening. I just wish that the multitude of selfish people in this country take note and consider us all who live here. May be they need to be frightened in order for fairness for all to take place. Well said Mhairi.

Well said and it’s so frustrating. You summed up posh middle England so well. Being a working class person it breaks my heart for the future. The producer are more than happy to sell poor quality food at cheap prices, sell drink and tobacco for large profit but not willing to accept the health problems that come with it. These freedoms seem to point in one direction, your with us or your against us. So much for freedom of expression and belief.
