30:12 is honestly scary. How many people did we meet online that we never saw in real life? I would also say i met 2 of over 70 people i played online games with since 2011. Its honestly scary that this game came out 2001 and basically predicted this exact phenomenon happening.

there was a lot about raiden that i didn't know about here. i knew about the main dialogue but the codec calls sort of make things much clearer in regards to how he acted outside of the game. actually dating someone like him would've been difficult, so i guess now i got a better appreciation of rose in this game. (then again i've never been the type to hate on her like most people in the community.) in fact the eventual spliting in mgs 4 is so much more believable after listening to all this. (although with that being a ruse to hide little john from the patriots does dampen that) thanks for this video george, even if i found it much later then i should've.

I just realized the frequency bar is different for Snake and Raiden

This game hits so hard. I played mgs2 since my dad bought it new when i was 6. So Rose was always there since i was little. I didnt have an opinion of her either way since she was always there. Now at 26, I truly appreciate the dynamics between Raiden and rose. When Rose tells Jack how much she cares about him and how much she wants to be close to him, She reminds me of someone special to me. And she also reminds me of myself. Always falling in love with emotionally unavailable people and spending hours upon hours trying to think of the ways i can finally get past the "no trespassing" sign on the heart of who i love. I really like Rose a lot now as a adult. I feel like i had to grow empathy. I didnt have these sensitive feelings on troubled relationships until i had been in enough pain and caused enough. Now i appreciate them so much. I love the drama that exists and persists throughout the game. It really makes me think about my own life and my own relationships. Her voice actress was amazing. I will revisit these codec calls as time goes on. Favorite parts- 33:04 - 33:17 And one not mentioned in this video where Rose breaks down cries and says she loves him no matter who he is. Something ive said on my own recently. I suppose, if you hold up a mirror to my face and i see Rose, i wouldn't be too upset.

It's really cute how he tries to help Snake with these proverbs but doesn't quite understand them well enough.
