Everyone does stealth their own way lol. You could say that going in ghost and coming out undetected is stealth. You could also say that going in and killing every last person and all cameras to remove all witnesses is stealth.

omg, you're really good at this, I never knew the teleport thing even exists and the hand grab also. I thought I completely explored everything about this game I thought all the high-level weapons that are ''?'' were just a stronger version of the normal stuff but nothing special. I used to be somewhere within top 200 on the worldwide leader boards on PC. I played with number 1 a couple of times though. There's a surprisingly huge amount of depth to MGSV and I really enjoyed playing FOBs. Teleporting doesn't work anymore, unfortunately. If you havn't already, check my channel for more MGSV videos. Back in 2000 I've exploited demo version of MGS on Ps1 so much that I've discovered Nikita rockets stored on the back of the truck :)(after few tricks with changing locations). I was just 15 yo and I was already keen to spent like 50 hours in a fucking demo ver of the game :) I was always exploring that stealth game world to it's maximum, checking all the possibilities around. I've also played Thief, Splinter Cell series... all on hard difficulty always looking for a challenge.. Recently I've discovered that and Holy Shit... I'm thinking to steal that nuke without triggering a single alarm. Just for giggles. Like in the movies.. Anyway thanks for your video man! Awesome gameplay. Opened my eyes a bit more :)

I got into MGS late, because I didn't have a Playstation as a kid. When MGS V captured me on PC, I bought a PS3 and played the entire MGS series. Fantastic games! Even the 2D titles were impressive!

Watch out Snake! You’re up against Venom Dolphin! He’s an extremely agile infiltrator who constantly dives on his stomach to avoid enemy detection... just like real dolphin! You’re going to have a rough time catching up to him if you want to take him down. Try using grenades or gas to trap him. Venom Snake used to be a hero fighting for nuclear disarmament, but now he’s just another mercenary working for Outer Heaven. Good luck Snake!

Weird. I've gotten Daily rewards on PC since 2019 or so.

God damn I just got into this game, have like 42 hours in it, and majority of my campaign missions consist of me doing decent stealthily and then getting spotted or some random guy comes out of nowhere or quiet just decides to shoot a man with a helmet. A few of my mission I managed to do setalthily, but when it comes to fob, I normally do okay stealthily, and then I'm spotted or I make it to the end and someone sees me climbing the stairs to the point lol. Any tips for new players?

Don't worry. I started just as small and clumsy as you. Additionally, there's a huge gap in difficulty between the campaign and FOBs, as FOBs are considerably harder. If you try to master them now you may also ruin the campaign for you, as the good loot you can get from FOBs can make many of the campaign's missions trivially easy. I'd recommend finishing the campaign first, then going for 100% and while doing so, experimenting with different play styles, not just stealth. Because FOBs aren't just pure stealth. If you have to defend your base, you'll need combat skills too, for example. I have a lot of tips for you. But I'm heading off to bed, so that'll have to wait. Feel free to text me! love how easy you make it loook i just opened FOB and died after one minute first attempt so trying to learn something here. can anyone tell me where you must be before times running out I've seen other videos opened some kind of door and got message infiltration successfully. but what level are these doors and are they on every platform or only command ? please anyone know answer respond thx

Don't be worried about you having a hard time. There's a large discrepancy between the challenge and needed engagement asked by FOB missions and those of the standard campaign, resulting in a huge difficulty spike. It's normal. You'll get better at it with time. The primary goal of FOB missions is to infiltrate the core. You do that by passing through the door which you mentioned. Every platform has such a door, wheter it'd be a command platform, a R&D platform or any of the others. Three things to keep in mind, though: Platforms can be upgraded by the owner, causing them to have several decks. This is why I have to cross several bridges in this video, because those connect the decks with each other. The door leading to the core is always on the main deck, while you always spawn on the deck furthest away from the core. Thus, infiltrating FOBs upgraded with several decks is much more difficult than infiltrating single deck FOBs. Second, the design and layout of the main deck depends on the platform you're attacking. The command platform, for example, has a large tower in the middle, with a few structures surrounding it, and a spiraling walkway up to the top, where the core is. Meanwhile, the R&D platform has a huge, open space, where many material containers are stored and only has a much smaller structure in the back, featuring large ramps. And last but not least, the door to the core closes during an active alarm. The security alert does not trigger the closing of the door, but should you be sighted by the enemy, causing a combat alarm, the door will immediately close. You will have to hide from the enemy until they lose sight and give up searching for you, causing the alert to end and the door to re-open, or you'd have to attack and kill all enemy units, which would have the same effect. Be careful: Enemy soldiers can request back-up, causing additional soldiers to spawn on the platform. By the way, me placing a wormhole teleportation device behind the door serves to secure my infiltration's sucess, even if I decide to investigate the platform further to steal resources and unfortunately trigger an alarm. With the device already placed behind the door, I can teleport into the core even if it closes. The device is high-level gear, though. It requires beating a certain Event FOB that isn't always avaiable, if I remember correctly. You'd also have to be careful not to accidently enter the core when trying to place the device behind the door, because that would end the mission. Not a big problem, since that grants you victory, but now you can't go back to steal more resources. All of that is a little too advanced for you, at least as of now. I'd suggest you travel to your own motherbase and run around there. Get familiar with the general layout of your platforms. This way you'll have a better orientation when you try to infiltrate enemy FOBs and things get serious. By the way, in the FOB mission screen, there are also so-called training missions. Here you can attack your own FOB, or those of friends. It's just "simulated", though. You don't receive anything for winning, but in return you also don't get punished for losing. It's a great way to practice FOB infiltration.

1) There's a whole customizing section in your iDroid. It's not just about skins. You can adjust weapon modifyers too. Maybe add a suppressor and a scope to your favorite gun. 2) The Hand of Jehuty. Go capture a Jehuty, a rare bird in Africa, and you'll get it.

Thank you! Gameplay-wise, the original MGS is quite a different beast than MGSV and so are most of the titles in the series. That said, I have played and beaten most of the games, including of course Metal Gear Solid!

What I planted in the door was not C4. It was a teleporter. So after having planted it, I could have ended the mission anytime by just teleporting back to it. Even during alarms, even when the door closes, as the teleporter war carefully planted behind the door. As such, there was little to no risk in going back and stealing a few items and soldiers, as I still had time on the clock.

@@FeixMan I play and heres the state of things. Some people's fobs have quit and there isn't any troops/resources at some. Theres still people playing. 2 days ago I had someone defend a fob I was invading. Theres a couple of hackers. One fob I invaded said it didnt have anyone on it or nukes so I did it for easy GMP, but the fucker proceeded to have 4 nukes, all S++ on all skill troops, and maxed out gear. Theres also another hacker who had all their troops be girls in bikini's with maxed stats. The fob scene on pc has less players but isn't completely dead. I also hear that konami was also hiding nukes on the fob invade choice screen on pc but it might be a myth.

How were you able to constantly dive without having to return to crouching?

Actually, I do return to crouching. However, I cancel the animation in which Venom goes from prone to crouching. This is possible, because there are seperate animations for when you perform an action unarmed and for when you perform an action with a weapon held ready. Basically, I do the following: After initiating the dive, but before Venom finishes it by landing on his belly, I already hold the button to ready to weapon (standard should be mouse2 on PC, if I'm not mistaken). However, because you can not pull out your weapon while still diving, the according animation will be delaye until after the dive has been finished. This is why there's no crosshair visible while still airbone, but then when you land it immediately pops up. This is the moment where you become actionable again. Tap the crouch button (ctrl) to initiate Venom's get-up animation and immediately release the weapon-ready button (m2). This will cancel the usual delay between dives, which means you can immediately dive again. Now repeat. To put it even more simple: dive > ready your weapon during the dive > weapon will auto ready upon finishing the dive, shown by the cross hair popping up > start getting into the crouched position > as soon as Venom starts to stand up, release your weapon and dive again (you can now ready your weapon again, because you wanna repeat the process) > repeat With this technique, you are quicker than crouch walking, but very hard to see for the enemy, because the game considers you almost entirely proned.

I have no idea how people infiltrate these types of fob's. When I tried to steal a nuke I didn't even get past one platform

Sorry, I can't help you with that as I've never had that happen. I rarely saw bases with Nukes. If I did find one, I needed to get there quick, before someone else starts to infiltrate in which case the game wouldn't let me try.

The effect comes from the enemy base having EMP emitters installed on their drones. These jam the batteries of your electric devices.

Before you earn GMP from your missions, you need to spend some GMP first. This is called deployment cost, which depends on what kind of gear you are carrying. In this case, due to a server bug, I never got any GMP for my mission, but I still had to pay the deployment cost.

That ending tho. And bashing privates to stay stealthy 🤣.

If you have nukes, players below 150000 heroism cant invade your FOB, but it makes you a target for higher level players. They also count toward your PF grade.

1) Stealing nukes is more effective than constructing them for yourself. 2) Bases with nukes are usually much better defended, making for a nice challenge.

E-RB WH Generator You'll need to get the blueprint as a price from Event FOBs. Prices change overtime, so you may have to wait for a future event before you can win it again.

I don't know how it is nowadays, but back then when I played, the game was very active and bringing nukes into your possession meant you'd have to expect with an attack of your command base immediately. If it still is like this, use this to your advantage! After receiving nukes, stay in-game, wait in the helicopter, and surely enough you'll soon get the emergency mission about your base being infiltrated. Now just go there to defend, immediately fulton/wormhole your nukes out and your set. Even if the invader reaches your core, your nukes are safe already. And after having been invaded, your base will be protected from further invasions for a set time, allowing you to safely leave the game. Make sure to return to the game before your protection ends. Instead of waiting for that to happen, drop your protection yourself. Then, soon afterwards, the next attack on your base will occur. Repeat as described above and regain your protection. This becomes more effective when you have more nukes, because people can only steal 4 nukes at a time from you, meaning that the rate at which you can lose nukes is quite slow. If you have a full arsenal of nukes, it'll take infiltrators like a week to get to all to them. Just play on a regular basis and you will be fine! Apart from that, just make sure you have a good defense level on your base, decently placed mines, and a lot of friends, because those too have the chance to defend your base. Just in case you're not around to do it yourself.

It repels a majority of intruders, since only those players with Hero status (or a nuke of their own) can attack nuke owners.

As soon as you possess a FOB, you will be able to store Nukes. Even though the command center will always only show up to four Nukes, the number of Nukes you can own is higher. The number of Nukes you can own is independent of the number of FOBs you possess. You can store up to 16 Nukes.

The rival you are infiltrating will receive an 'Intruder Alert' as soon as you have triggered the 'Special Alert'. To avoid a 'Special ALert' is practically impossible as there are simply too many triggers: Using items, interacting with objects, itneracting with guards, crossing bridges... The 'Special Alert' is usually delayed. You do not immediately cause a 'Special Alert' upon doing one of the aforementioned actions. Instead you cause a countdown, which goes quicker as you perform more relevant actions. Once that countdown hits Zero, the 'Special Alert' will be triggered and your rival will receive an 'Intruder Alert'. You will most likely have caused this to happen long before you get to extract and steal their nukes. Stealking nukes is all about speed! You want to get to the nukes and extract them quicker than your rival can react. Which means that most people, who steal Nukes, do so-called 'Nuke Runs', where they dash towards the Nukes with heavy weaponry and kill anyone who stands in their way. You also need to know that a rival with a defense level of 100 has an instant'Special Alert' upon your spawn on their base. This means that they'll immediately know they're being infiltrated as soon as you arrived at their base.

You mean the sleep gas pistol? It's called AM A114 RP Sleep Gas Pistol. Its development requires a blue print you can only get from doing Event FOBs and trading in your Event Points. However, Event FOBs change over time and so do the rewards. You will need to check MGS V periodically and see which rewards are avaiable for Event Points. Grinding a bit is certainly helpful here, as the AM A114 RP isn't the only worthwhile reward you can get from Event FOBs.

How do you dive so much without worrying if they will spot you i always get caught and i dont dive near as much as you especially when you didnt even look where the soldiers could be, would really apreciate some advice and skills from you.

There are three "stances" for your character in this game: You can either just stand up right, you can crouch, or you can crawl on your belly. These stances will influence how visible you are to your enemies. The "smaller" you make yourself, the less visible you will be. As such, crawling on your belly makes you very hard to see. Diving is the quickest way to get onto your belly and it is here where the trick hides: The low visibility of being of crawling seems to be active as soon as you start your dive instead of as soon as you finish the dive. So, as you dive, you are already of very low visibility. If you now dive in quick succession by a technique some have called dolphin diving, you basically are always of low visibility as if you were crawling, while keeping the speed of diving. Regarding me not looking for soldiers, that's just my experience with the game. My game sense so to say. I quickly get a feeling for which routes through the enemy FOB could be safe. Additional, in this specific video I was trying to steal nukes, which usually attracts a defender. So I had little time to play carefully and had to be a bit more daring. I hope that helped!

Sorry for the late reply. As far as I know, there's no fix to this issue. If Konami's servers for some reason don't register your successes, you won't gain anything as it seems.
