Late reply but for anyone seeing this thread, mostly because tranqs don't alert the enemy immediately (unlike lethal bullets). Of course the guard will see you if you miss and hit his helmet, but it's pretty easy to manage.

I invade fobs about 5-10 times a day cause they are fun I’m also on Xbox though not sure if fobs are cross console?

How do you guys get good at FOBs? I’ve been playing them non stop for a few weeks but I still really struggle hard with any infiltration with 4 platforms, regardless the level. It feels like my guns do nothing to the guards with that armor, and when all hell breaks lose I don’t understand how I’m supposed to escape the chaos. The guards are able to pinpoint my location no matter how far I try to get from them. It’s just so hard to practice these tough FOBs because the deployment cost is so steep

You should really not attempt to attack another FOB until you have your defense level pretty high like 90s. I say this because there's still a good amount of players that will purposely lower their Esp rank so they will get matched with lower level players and steal resources. Upgrade your defenses and practice on your own FOB to get better at infiltrating. Stay Prone, roll, use the right fatigues. Sneaking suit only helps with NVG not very good for CAMO.

@@homelessgenie3366 thank you for the advice. I’ve started to get a bit better actually with practicing on the current event “Bound Dragons”. It’s really tough but I have no threat of retaliation so it’s been good practice. I definitely see what you mean about using concrete/metal camo over the sneak suit. How do I get my defenses up though? I keep seeing my defense level higher than my opponents in the weekly virtual battles, but their defense number thing is higher - example being my defense level is 67 but the number or score thing is like 600 while my opponent’s defense level is like 42 while there score thing is 2100. It’s very confusing

@@jayst I have only ever done the event fobs, have 170+ successful infiltrations. The other player fobs are much harder but you should really practice on the training ground on your own fob before attempting them. As for why the bullets don't effect the armored guys, there's literally only one spot your tranq darts will work on them no matter what tranq gun you use, sniper, pistol, et cetera. You have to shoot them in the lower part of the face. Basically in the eye and mouth area, as there isn't armor there. I've actually never infiltrated an player fob and I've never been infiltrated either. Played and had this game for over a year easily and its never happened once for me. The event fobs are basically the same two everytime. The mosquito one which is similar to player fobs in that you can steal resources and reach the core or the skull fobs where you take out the skulls. Both of them are easier than player fobs at any level. A better weapon to take on the heavily armored player fobs are the stun shotguns, which send them flying first shot and always stun the second shot, but I recommend getting medium grad suppressor first because you don't get a lot of rounds or shots before the suppressor breaks. The hard level event fobs require more gear, too. So sleep grenades are great or the underbarrel attachment that shoots sleep grenades as well. I can run through the hard level mosquito fob event with just the two primaries, sleep sniper, the dmg assault rifle and underbarrel sleep launcher, which is my just in case back up weapon if I'm spotted, and a tranq pistol, not even needing support weapons or boxes and stuff. The skull event is funner though, tranq pistol, missile launcher, for the challenges, and the double barrel shotgun to kill the skulls. I tranq the soldiers for the challenge and use the missile launcher and fatigues dor challenges too. I beat the game a while ago and didn't play for months but lately I've been doing the fob events with low characters to get them medals and boost their skills. Especially my female staff because I'm a perv and need good female soldiers to rock all the swimsuits I buy with event points. Lol I actually have an clip on my channel of a match against skulls where I ran out of ammo for all my weapons and still had two skulls left I had to cqc to beat. Was quite interesting.

Its drone battery vaporisation, kills your nv goggles and cyberhand shit, pretty annoying debuff which you can pretty much do nothing about, all t11 bases have it, its one of the strongest things for base defense besides bridge blockade mines.

This was the opposite of "Lethal Sniper"

I can't beat lvl 52 fob lol.

God im just managing to get past this level of guys at night, in my grade 8 battle dress, hail launcher, grade7 alm, korn grenade, blast arm and 3000 sleep grenades 😂 stealth is not my best thing 🙄
