@@EggkFarm Hey man if it keeps the videos coming I'll leave all the inspiring comments I can! Also speaking of inspiration I ended up picking up the Aoshima Arbalest because of your video. It now lies in a special section of my backlog of kits that I will only touch once I've build up my painting skills. One day I'll do Arby justice haha

Oh that's awesome! Did you get the same TSR one or a different variation? I have a backlog like that right now as well. Fine Molds' Jango Fett Slave I is sitting there, such a daunting project! One awesome kit I'd recommend practicing on is the HG Leo. It's basically made to be painted. Every part comes off easy and can be mounted on clips with no issue. Whatever way you choose to paint, it's a good practice kit.

@@EggkFarm I was able to snag the re-release with the emergency deployment booster relatively close to msrp though it took a lot of digging. Ohhh if you ever get to painting that def make sure to share the finished results with us. I have tons of "holy grail" kits that I want to tackle later but I think Arbalest and the Xenogears Structure Arts kits are the ones im most excited for. Btw you should definitely play Xenogears and the Xenosaga trilogy if you're into rpgs with deep stories they're the most impressive stories in gaming imho. I have an unpainted hg leo that I bought specifically for paint practice and theres plenty more I can mess with in my enormous backlog. I've fully painted my MG Shining Gundam but I didn't take into account how the paint would thicken up the joints so it barely moves so there goes the fighting action but now I know for next time to take the time to sand down joints and connection points or mask em.

Oh nice! That's definitely the cooler one to get. I'd certainly make a full video on that kit. Jango's Slave I is a sentimental favorite for me. Painting it is going to be hard but I think the fat ass seamline directly down the middle (which is full of detail) will be the biggest challenge! Oh those Xenogears ones look cool! I had the chance to buy all the Xenosaga games for cheap a few years ago. In retrospect, I wish I did. III was about 300% cheaper then than now. Yup, I ran into the same issue with my first fully painted one. Thought it's more of a shame for the Shining Gundam to not pose then the FG Zaku!

It's great to see you back! I don't know if the PG Zeta giving the double bird is how you feel about the kit so I sure as hell am looking forward to its review one day lol.

Time will tell...

Shame Bandai just can't crack gold for its kits. Gold injection? Looks naff. Gold plate? Leaves nub marks. I'd probably just paint them something like Retributor Armour from Citadel (spray or brush), or something similar from the paint of choice and make it really pop.

I think the best they've gotten was the Hyaku Shiki 2.0, which has so few bad nubs with the undergating that you won't spot them. The original Hyaku Shiki though, that thing looks like a nightmare to even touch with the super shiny reflective gold. By and large though, it would just be better to paint them for sure!
