Mfowethu, the Shishangaan male lion and brother of Casper the White Lion, is looking much better.
He is still limping as a result of an injury incurred several months ago, most likely during a buffalo hunt attempt.
GAME DRIVE ETIQUETTE - RULES (SANParks):
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance and turn OFF your engine
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions

Yes, he seems to be better. He lost some weight during his sickness.
He may not be able to keep up with the pride so good he needs his brothers and the pride to look out for him. Bless him he looks so much like his dad its not funny. How good to see it like this. The last time I saw him he didn't look good at all. It already looks much better, which makes me very happy. I hope he stays close to his brothers. Long life for him and for them🙏

Why can't someone from the Wild life Animal protection help him? If something happens to Casper or his brothers you will have alot of viewers extremely outrage, I know some people will say let nature take its course, but its not like Africa is over populated with lions and also it doesn't help when Poaching and Trophy Hunting is still happening in that country if humans don't do something about it the lion species will be extinct?! PLEASE HELP THE BEAUTIFUL LION SPECIES 🙏🦁😪💗

Dont look so good to me.They cant afford to lose a member right now. There are young lions with greater numbers on their border, altough casper has looked his strongest recent and has a differnt look of ambition in his face of late.

I don't know about that. He's looking pretty lame still and way way too skinny. Don't these guys eat? No Buffalo come through their territory? Or is it that their just terrible hunters?

Well they are living in the wild there is this thing called diseases and aging. There are diseases in meat too so unsure if he have some kind of illness from that. Most female lionesses do the hunting. Sometimes male do but right now there are younger male lions across the border. These 4 lions from the Shish pride are around 10 years old in July. Also, there are dry seasons in Africa so sometimes buffalo have to graze in different territories. I mean it's like around 90 - 100 degrees in South Africa
