Not long ago I discovered Casper and wow I think he is such a charismatic creature. Beautiful! Lions - true warriors.

In my mind, the Shish brothers are ageless. So, I'm going to enjoy this moment in time when all four brothers and the pride were together. I wish this pride had been more successful. But, the two sub-adult cubs look well. My hope and prayer for today is that the most recent three cubs survive through their first year, giving them a good chance to carry on the Shish legacy. Thank you for this beautiful video!

I wish there was something like a VET that can help Casper and Mfowethu it breaks my heart seeing Casper limping an his brother Mfowethu that doesn't look too good. 🙏 I hope Casper and his brothers stay safe! 💗🦁💗🦁💗🦁💗🦁

Oh wow Casper is limping again and badly. Still it is good to see them all together and I believe we will see them all together again. A coalition of four big male lions is a strong coalition and even at ten years old and with an injury or two, they are still a force to be reckoned with. Dont count them out yet!!!. ❤

They all look great. When you are a white lion then all scratches and bruises look more pronounced including the dirt. He looks great.

Poor Casper and Mfowethu. Makes me worry seems like something is going on the this pride and coalition. You have a good question and idk but it will be hard on Casper and the brothers bigger coalitions coming in and younger ones as well. I do hope we will see them all together again. I cant think about what their future holds for them wuth them reaching 10. Only 10 percent of lions make it to there age an older. Not very good odds. It seems the numbers dont lie because if only 2 made it out of 15? The numbers seem to be correct with 1 out pf 8 making it to adulthood. Thats depressing a bit i was hoping those numbers were wrong but this sorta proves it. Well idk im concerned for all the lions. Thank you for sharing this with us. Its greatly appreciated with respect.

Why don't care of them, because the lions are millionaires with the money entering in the park, the people go to park for Casper and brothers. They are Iconics and Legends. THE MONEY BELONGS TO THE LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Brothers do not look in the greatest of shape. I really hope that they can all stay together & Rule for a while Longer. It would be a shame, if the pride lost it's Leaders !

I think Casper has been limping occassionally since the first videos I saw with them 2 years ago and he still looks pretty good. Footlose and Casanova look pretty good too so they could still be a strong coalition even if they're not 4 by the end of the year. Of course, Casper seems to be closer to Mfowethu than the other two, so who can tell what's going to happen?

As they love to invent endings... luckily the only truth is reality... and the reality is that the 4 brothers continue to govern their pride and their territory, they managed to expel the 6 mayambulas who were younger lions and surpassed them in number...they always underestimated these brothers but they have already shown that they are always fighting against adversity. In that country a Veterinarian should check on Casper and his brothers they seem to be very popular with the tourist, and we as humans should also respect the lions surroundings with the car motor engine noise. Too loud .. a more recent post mama lioness was trying to call out for her missing cub but with all the engine noise with tourists her Precious baby cub probably couldn't hear mom with all those cars. 😪🙏 🐾💗🦁🦁🦁🦁💗

The young male who hungs with the pride is a brother of some of the Satara lionesses who Shishangaans have been tolerating- thanks goodness

They've been hanging around the pride alot lately. Wonder if they still feel the presence of the mayanbulas... they should take on the threat head on, but they not that type of coalition.

I am sure that they did not survive for this long in this competitive environment just laying around. I am also sure that if they wanted to they could kill Zoro even now and I luv the fact that they do not see him as a threat and leave him be because remember the lioness themselves can kick him out if they wanted to so it is also likely that Zoro helped them bring game down when Shishangaans are away.

Question: Planning our first trip to the Kruger, asked my brother who is a SanParks guide, he said to only turn off your engine when the distance between you and the animal is safe, never when they are less than 10m away from the car (especially a low car). Just in case the animal decides to inspect the vehicle. Checked on SanParks website, and this rule is nowhere to be found. We are going in a low car...so is this rule valid?

@luvmyaussie9561 There is a reason this rule doesn't exist, if the lion goes to the vehicle and inspects it by jumping to the open window, the people inside the vehicle freak out causing the lion to freak out and biting/scratching someone. Because of some stupid law in South Africa, the lion would need to be put down as it poses a threat. It's safer to keep ones engine on just in case a quick escape is needed. And because the youtuber made up this law, it has no legal standing. He can not enforce it by verbal abuse. Look up SanParks rules and regulations, you'll see it doesn't exist.

Seriously- so let me assert this one., none of these vehicles should have open windows that is against the rule yet in this video they all do meaning no one is respecting the rule and it is the lions who are having more common sense not humans, second none of them should have body part protruding from the window- most all do, third if engine is off and one lane is blocked every will be fine, lions only on occasion jump on vehicles and you should be fine. The only time you should turn the engine on is if you are dealing with an elephant- meaning one should be appropriate distance but if the elephant is on the road and starts moving towards the car then you turn engine in and use the free lane to head in other direction because elephant is one animal that may not tolerate you on the road no matter the free lane or not. In reality no one is respecting the rules because the humans are selfish and complaisant relaying on common sense of the animals to know that and avoid humans not that humans use their brains or have sense if responsibility that if something happens the animal will get injured and it would not have happened of rules were observed. Finally, I took screenshots of all these comments that way if there is in the news that someone got hurt by the lion and it was you ir the person planning this trip, I would like the world to know that you planned to disregard common sense in advance.

@luvmyaussie9561 Open windows are allowed in Sanparks. Like I said, you can go read the actual rules and regulations yourself. I would never hurt any animal, that's why I am vegan. All I am saying is that this KZreadr had no right to insult someone for doing nothing wrong. All animals in Africa are dangerous, not just elephants. I put their safety first that's why if I don't feel safe I keep the engine on.

So good to see Mfoweto looking so much better. Just amazing what they go through, but can recover time & time again. I pray they can protect, their little ones long enough, to help them survive! 🫶🦁
