Nice documentary on the Asiatic lions! Bittersweet regarding the CDV tainted lions that are now confined to a very small space. Glad that they were rescued and are now alive but sad at their confinement. The sad longing to be back out in the wild could be seen in the action of the one lioness who had climbed on to the parapet wall in the back corner of the small enclosure and kept staring out at the wilderness through the fence. Is it possible to shift this full pride to a much larger enclosure such as Devalia/Ambardi?? This will keep them confined, but also provide them a much larger place to roam and hunt wild prey as needed.

@@ryansettani9189 The Devalia/Ambardi sites are similar in size, if not larger, than the large soft release bomas (not the quarantine enclosures) in which the cheetahs are kept in Kuno, prior to release into the wild. Several groups of lions such as the cape lion the Barbary lion are already extinct as well as the smaller Nubian lion. Several tigers are also extinct and the ones that are left they are very scarce. The two toughest predators on God's green earth are in danger of going extinct. If I'm not mistaken seven species of tiger are already extinct six species of lion.

I love wild life stories,,, your great telling them , a great voice too !!! Thanks
I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary. It is sad that distemper took so many & 23 will never see the green lush lands of the wild. Just glimpses from behind walls & bars 😢😢. The narrators voice is so comforting to listen to also. He made it a story of the lions lives w/o the fighting & killing. 👵🏻👩🌾❣️
They came such a long way, at first I thought Leo was going to be the better lion but Max was a better one. They are both beautiful males. Love their manes.
Like 28 out of 30 of the infected lion's recovered from the canine distemper, however the lion's that fully recovered, could not mix with lions that were never infected with canine distemper. They needed to stay separated together in a larger enclosure so they could move around more. The disease fortunately had run it's course!!!
Straight tail has such a beautiful maine, rare for an Asiatic lion
Educative and informative. Congratulations to the team!!!

Without some strong conservation these beautiful animals are likely to go extinct just like the beautiful tiger.
