This is a very mature, elegant scent. It has to my nose quite a prominent Benzoin note that is slightly medicinal. After that initial opening, it transitions into a smooth ambery vanilla with a slight powdery resin note. Although this isn't a performance beast by any means, it does last on the skin for a long time and you will keep getting gentle wafts of the fragrance. It is quite sweet and linear though, which isn't a bad thing but I do think like the name suggests this fragrance isn't versatile and is best suited to formal occasions in cold temperatures and at night. I am not sure why but I just find that the magic of this fragrance is more present in the night with a coolness to make the sweetness more enjoyable and not as cloying. This is definitely one of those fragrances that smells luxury. I really enjoyed your review of this.

This juice is so smooooth, i love it!

I love all of MFK fragrances. Baccarat Rouge is my favorite. Grand Soir is heavenly also. I hope you review Thameen fragrances this year Joy. Always enjoy your point of view.

This one is so good, very comforting and warm. My fav MFK that I tried so far (closely followed by Oud Satin Mood).

Already loved this, went through my sample and wore it at Christmas Dinner...just re-watched this video & pulled the trigger to buy it finally. To me it smells like a creme brulee! Warm vanilla, a hint of burnt sugar, spices...probably in the top 3 scents that I ever smelled (with Jubilation XXV & Portrait Of A Lady)

Crazy timing. I just smelled this for the first time today. I was messaging a friend telling him I really liked it and all of a sudden I get a notification that you just dropped a review. I agree with you this is a wonderful fragrance. But I can't afford to buy it so might have to check out that Alexandria Paris Night. Thanks for the tip!

Grand Soir has not impressed me much. It smells like a diluted/weak amber-based fragrance with a hint of tonka-beans. It reminds me of a watered down version of Dolce & Gabbana - The One. For the price point, you can buy two D&G The One frags instead of a MFK Grand Soir & you will get better quality.

@@dhampirrayne1598 I believe yes, it has been reformulated since Louis Vuitton purchased a majority stake in MFK in 2017 & since then most of MFK fragrances have been watered down in comparison to their original releases.
