Hello AC. You hit a real soft spot in my heart with this one.This scent is amazing.Warm, inviting, and lasts a very long time.My wife loves when I wear it.A couple of more reasonably priced amber scents are Elie Saab #3 and S.T.Dupont Royal Amber.Be safe.

Very nice fragrance buddy but start with a decant you can get one.

Over twenty four hours later including a beasty 8 hour sleep- this stuff is STILL on my arm. Phenomenal!!!

Thanks AC, that was great. This was a love at first sniff for me, in a department store. This one just glows! I have the Perfume Parlour interpretation of Grand Soir, and it's close enough to scratch the itch. If you could mention any of the other bright Ambers which do the job for less, that would be fantastic👍

Great review AC, tried it but wasn’t immediately blown away at first; did find it very linear and at couldn’t see what all the hype was about. Fast forward a few months, was at work and one of my colleagues came in wearing this, they left an immense sillage trail that smelt great. Had to ask them what it was, to my surprise it was this one! Needless to say I’ve done a complete 180. I think It’s true where you say it’s been crafted similarly to BR540 as I think this one smells great in the air as opposed to off the skin. Nice one 👍

Great take on Grand Soir. Mine is similar in some respects. I find it to be a simple, clean amber for the most part. It's bright and the signature choice of musks gives it this, powdery, soapy accord more and more as it dries down to my nose. Between the hype and the cost, I haven't been able to justify a full bottle yet. After buying bottles of Amberland, Soul, Noir Ambre, etc...those have spoiled me rotten! lol

Yeah, I also find it clean and single layered amber because its not amber in the true sense of the word, its amberwood. Thats one thing which makes me wonder why its so expensive, but then BR540 is even more expensive.

I really like this one a lot! Even more than BR540, which I know goes against the grain a little bit. Great review as always, my friend!

i smelt this over the years and didnt like it. I got the 11ml x 8 sample kit of MFK in November and this blew me away and it started my love for ambers. I got and tried a lot of amber but i realised that Grand Soir is the ideal amber for me and once the remaining 3-4ml is finished ill get a bottle for sure

I like tango, but I couldn't understand why it was so pricey. I think Ambre Loup is more complex and serious and all of these 3. I have a bottle and will review soon.

I love Grand Soir. Such a classy and addictive scent, confidence and sex appeal in a bottle for me.

I want to remember you for one Amber fragrance that you will love it, I'm sure, it's from guerlain, enscense mythique, I hope you can find a sample to know how much butiful and u will looove it, remember this 😉👌🌹

I actually tried it, and maybe I had a bad sample, I abolutely hated it, and that doesn't happen to me with Guerlain fragrances. I will try and sample it again.

Is it worth it to get the 200ml, Over the 70ml?

I got a 70ml bottle for €110 and in the EU MFKs aren't actually THAT expensive in general. From their website itself, Grand Soir is €160 but you can get it cheaper from other shops and since this perfume is super potent you get a lot out of this 70ml. I never spray more than 3 times. In this regard you should give it a 9/10 ;)

@@mylesmw Grand Soir I got from Amazon. It was a special offer. But mostly I buy through Idealo. They compare many online shops in the EU and you can take advantage of the different prices in the countries of the EU.

Soon, its not quite spring here in the UK. Its so cold I dont feel like smelling anything spring like.

I agree with you AC, stunning scent but I've never went for a full bottle, a bit too linear and gets boring easily with repeated use, also it's so potent very little goes along way, for the occasions I use it, my 10ml decant have lasted a couple years now, and won't finish it that soon. One thing for sure, even ppl that are not into fragrances compliment it
