The GT-R R35 can reach 7.500rpm stock. Ishigami was referring about stock specs of the GT3 that can reach 9.000rpm

At some point in initial D, Ryosuke said the 86's new engine generated up to 240 horsepower at 11 000 rpm. That is already a pretty respectable number compared to the 150ish it had before, much more so in a car as light as the 86. It's not that the power wasn't needed, he already had it. If i had to guess, Takumi's 86 would beat Kanata's 86 in a straight line, and maybe even on the MFG course (if the drivers had the same skill level of course).

I think it was detuned for reliability at some point, though the engine straight from racing would produce 240 takumi probably had 200-220, also, the gt86 is a much more capable car with the full double wishbone setup, lower C.O.G and lack of a solid rear axle.

The fujiwara zone bs thing is just something they used to express the sorcery that’s going on, I’m sure you know. I actually liked that they gave it that kind of “image” or representation. It’s how you see what’s actually happening. It’s not that they literally teleport lol It kinda reminds me of Keisuke’s aura-like thing when he fought the NSX in Initial D

FYI, Junichi Suwabe previously voiced in HiDrivers as Tobari Shiranui of Team Night Break (Driver of the white NC1 NSX). Still no news about that "anime" though...

He also voice actor of Yoshiaki Ishida in Wangan Midnight anime also driving a Ferrari (Testarossa). He also back then was own 5 kinds of Ferrari cars.

hidrivers was not meant to/not coneptualized to be an anime tho (speaking as someone who followed their project) it was male idol audio drama with car flavor sprinkled on top of the main male idol genre is all no real uh racing happening (it was just a weird misunderstanding on crunchyroll side since they were the first ones to mention it as an anime just because it had a cool animated theme song sequence~) now if it does get an anime in the future thatd be cool but from the start it wasnt an anime

6:59 Yep R35 can reach that type of RPM 7:33 Yep a stock GT3 is not enough actually you must tune it according your touge or circuit according then it can race better like aero , brakes , suspension can be adjusted before the race begin 10:03 it is true actually most professional drivers in circuit leave some gap due to a risk of getting puncture (good reason is 2020 F1 where lewis got a puncture in last lap) while max still have grip and gunning for it so what kanata have ability is that tire management completed in first lap so second lap he can use it all the way and right at the end of the race which it maximize the grip but he will run a risk of tire puncture at the last stretch 11:48 that is a fact actually AWD draw backs for long races is understeer easily 15:25 To answer that question in Theoretically yes actually the reason is that this course is both uphill and downhill and since this R35 (which is correct all the R series in gtr are heavy bois cause of the AWD which is the altessa system which sent torque to the front tires to distribute the weight and corner exit better) now engine braking, deceleration, it is possible but given this is R35 which is nismo specs (which comes in aero package and lets assume aiba did tune the downforce) engine braking in this can wear out tires more in downhill but if use it wisely it is possible but is down to the driver itself what earlier kanata did say about tire management which it is correct now we need to go back to initial d world remember the paper cup training from the start all the way till end it is to train not only lower center gravity it teach about how u use the grip itself to advantage cause too rough it will wear out tire more so you need smooth driving style to preserve tires and if we talk about realistic you can take a look at Carlos sainz jr and Checo perez their both good in saving tires and know where to attack while they still have grip while other drivers already wear out the tires till the end
