今回の日本代表は本当にすごかった これを超えるチームは今後なかなか現れないと思う 歴史に名を刻んだ試合だった

The Best Game in Baseball History.

2:54:16 When Yoshida gets walked at the bottom of the 9th, he looks straight at the next batter, Murakami, and points right at him. Murakami wasn't having the best tournament so far, but it really showed how Team Japan believed in each other! Super cool to see Murakami pop off for the winning double right afterwards!!!!! Seriously the best baseball game I've ever seen!

イタリア戦までは勝利が決定しても「さ、並ぼうか」という感じだったのに この試合でサヨナラ勝ちした時は、まるで優勝が決定したみたいに「わーーーーー！！」だったのは サヨナラ勝ちしたこともさることながら、「初めて本当にガチバトルして勝った」感じだったからかも

正直メキシコ戦は今回のWBCで1番絶望感のあった試合だった。

あまり触れられていないけど、この試合はキャッチャー3人を使い切った栗山監督の攻めの姿勢が勝利を手繰り寄せたと思っています。先発キャッチャーは中村。6回から甲斐。9回大城。万が一、何らかのアクシデントで大城がケガした場合、キャッチャーはいなくなる事態になっていた。そういったリスクを背負ってまで勝ちに行った栗山監督はお見事！

Can't stop watching this game again and again. So far the best baseball game of ALL ( up till 8/28/23) in 2023.

同点に追いついて直ぐに２点追加されてしまう。正直勝てるとは思ってなかった。 大谷凄いと思った。全然あきらめていなかった。新たな道を切り開いていける人の生き方は矢張り凄いものだ。 セカンドベース上で皆を鼓舞する姿は感心させられる。皆を引っ張っていける人が居ることの意味は大きい。 特に今回は粒ぞろいの選手たちであったと思うから、リーダーが居れば実力を発揮してくれる。影のMVPは吉田だったかもしれないように皆が要所要所で実力を発揮してくれていたし。 日本の野球チームは素晴らしい。本当に日本人に希望や勇気を与えてくれる。

準決勝も決勝も最高のパフォーマンスをしてくれた両選手に感謝。感動をありがとう

This game is one of the most impressive baseball games I've ever seen.

Roki Sasaki and Munetaka Murakami are the future of baseball. They're not perfect now, but they will grow more in the next few years. I look forward to seeing them play in the MLB.

Also Sandval is great pitcher

歴史に残る名勝負でした。日本チームはやはり強かった。しかしその日本をこれだけ苦しませ、常にリードをしていたメキシコチームも素晴らしい戦いぶりでした。 この試合の前までなかなか力を発揮出来なかった村上選手がここぞという場面でサヨナラ打を打てた事が何よりも嬉しい。 そして不振でも村上選手を試合に出して、『ここで決めてくれ』とばかりに一塁走者を走りのスペシャリストに替えた栗山監督の決断も素晴らしかったです。 この先何年も語り継がれる試合となりました。侍ジャパンに改めておめでとうと言いたいです。

I love baseball, though I am more of a hockey and a basketball (more towards NCAA) fan, but wow, this Mexico vs Japan, and also this tournament was one of the best sporting events ever, and the best in my book. Baseball is back, and possibly hot in this world!

Best pitching by Sandy and lots of great play by Alozarena. Mexico dominated for most of the game and Japan was not doing well. But Japan won. A team wins in this kind of bad situation is proof that they are really strong.

I miss this tournament already. MLB needs to invest in this more. Maybe do it every other year. Or every 2 years at most. Watching Japan build towards winning it all and this comeback were incredible.
