I won’t lie, this game made me a little emotional. The result was heartbreaking but this was an incredible baseball game! If Mexico was going to go out, I want them to go out fighting! 🇲🇽 Mexico had an incredible WBC run and made me proud to be a Mexican! 🇲🇽 Congratulations Japan! You deserve it 🇯🇵 Games like these are what make the WBC special and I don’t understand how anyone could possibly dislike this event! Baseball won today! One more game to go and after that, we’ll have to wait 3 more years for moments like these… Can’t wait for USA vs Japan!!

Love your comment but I must disagree with one thing... Although we won, we were the ones that had to fight to stay alive for most of the game!! Tough luck Mexico and see you in the next tournament!!

What an amazing game of baseball. As a Red Sox fan, it was fun seeing Yoshida hit a clutch game-tying blast and then Verdugo giving Mexico the lead with an RBI double. What a win for Team Japan! Excited for the championship!

Japanese baseball has been known for "small ball" but this WBC showed that Japanese baseball now added "power" to their game. USA vs Japan game should be EPIC!!

From Mexican decent and as a baseball fan, I couldn't ask for anything else from Mexico. Congrats to Japan. This was one of the best baseball games I've seen!!!

Man I love baseball..! What a performance by both teams. Congratulations Japan...

Wow! That's one of the bestest baseball games I've ever seen and I've been watching MLB for 40 years. Why? Because of the passion (passion = suffering) and joy. I even liked the Mexican outfielder dropping a pose after robbing that homer. This tournament needs more attention in America. Just like World Cup soccer.

I hop Chinese Taipei become more tough, and baseball of Asia drive forth with Japan.

The intensity of these quarter and semi final games has produced some of the best baseball I’ve seen in a long, long time. Maybe ever. I’m glad I tuned in for this one!

I’ve been rewatching this game so much❤❤ 9:20 Genda’s catch was amazing and was so critical at that timing and Arozarena is now famous in Japan as “THE left guy” as he was soooo good!!!
