Time to pay taxes in Mexico. Years of companies and transplants paying no taxes have hurt Mexico. Money Is needed to bring standard of living there.

I am less concerned about her position on the right/left political spectrum, and far more concerned that she seems much too closely aligned with the supranational "elites" that have been a cancer on many countries the world over, including my own (Canada). I have my Mexican residence now, but I might be a little more cautious how I approach using it. Time will tell.

At the time AMLO took office in México, no one tought he would do what he did. Purchased Deer Park refinery in Texas and it paid for itself within a year, built the Mexican airport, AIFA in record time, built the refinery, 2 Bocas in Tabasco, Mex. Built the tren Maya despite a the pseudo ambientalist obstacles as well as the interocianic corridor between Salinas Cruz, Oaxaca and Costzacoalco, Veracruz. In my humble opinion, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo will do well and will he able to build thec2nd floor of the 4T transformation initiated by AMLO. Thus, wait and see. I don't have any investments in Mexico. I was born there but I see that Americans and Europeans invest billions of dollars every year in Cabo San Lucas. One issue in Mexico is that people aren’t being taxed, people are able to get away with not paying their taxes. If they have plans for social welfare then where are they gonna get the money to fund these programs unless they are going to start raising the taxes. I think that’s why a lot of billionaires move to Mexico to not pay taxes

Pledging to raise wages significantly..that means making Mexico a lot less competitive in world trade. Massive increase in welfare spending..that only works if your nation has a huge surplus in tax revenue. Last I checked Mexico's national debt is growing and is sitting around 45% of GDP. If Mexico wants to help it's poor then it needs to eliminate the cartels, and I don't see that happening.

Here in the US, RFK Jr, independent presidential candidate, is a nightmare for the right and both corporate candidates, Biden and Trump. That is why the two want to freeze out Kennedy from the presidential debates. They know he would hold them both accountable and soar in popularity.

I think it's great. Congrats to the Mexican people.

It’s bad when a people’s country goes left. It’ll remain with the left as long as the government keeps giving social help. And sadly, Mexicans actually believe their country to be a “power country”. And by believing so they may want to think a government can provide for them and be sustainable at the same time. It’ll get worse before it gets better. The only countries that right now and finally understood that socialism and printing money isn’t sustainable are Argentina and Venezuela. By it both countries are destroyed financially but it’s people don’t want to vote for the left any time soon. All the other countries in Latin America are going leftist. And yes, Venezuela is still under a dictatorship but every survey says Maduro will lose miserably in the presidential race. And it’ll be the end of its dictatorship. Get the good deals in Venezuela now that properties are super cheap. It’s risky but I’m all in. On the other hand, argentinians are taking the beat of changing policies like champions. They understand they won’t reap the fruits and it’ll be a long time before they see themselves the benefits but they all know they’re doing it for their children’s children. There’s no easy way out of the destruction done to Argentina and Venezuela but at least they understood the left ruins you. Chile, Mexico and many other Latin American countries are going down with the left. Let them.

Well if she's got an education in environmental issues... then perhaps it's time to work on the pathetic water and electrical infrastructure for everyone instead of just in cities, highways and international business. I liked AMLO and now her IF she will work for The People, but really, I'm petrified that she will follow all the ridiculous wef faux sustainable development goals which are anti-human.
