Mexico is undergoing a separation of the economic power from the political power. Mexico used to be an oligarchy with a facade of a Democracy. It used to be a government to the service of the wealthy... it is in the process of becoming a government to the service of all social classes fairly. And the wealthy are using all their money to attack him. Before AMLO the wealthy didnt pay taxes. Now he is making them pay.

Johnson stated, "Reinstate remain in Mexico policy." However, most of the people crossing at the US/Mexican border are NOT even Mexican! The vast majority of migrants are coming from Haiti, Caribbean, Venezuela, various parts of South America, and even from the African continent. One sees a lot of migrants of African descent at the border, and a lot of them don't even speak Spanish.

No, Johnson knows what's going on at the border. His stunt of acting helpless and pointing at Mexico is just to bring more attention to the fact that the current Administration is advocating and encouraging illegal migration, and that the House has no other option but to plea for help with this technique. In the Mid 90s due to the corrupt PRI party governing the country for years and only benefiting certain powerful individuals Many lost homes, jobs and were left in debt. Thus the reason why my parents and many more Mexicans moved up north illegally because even the system that would help you enter the US legally is messed up. My point being is that the “right” political parties in Mexico that are the equivalent of Republicans/Democrats had the country in a far worse mess for years. Suddenly with this administration a slight change was made that none had seen before. Even though this presidency is pro social, at least there is that change. Question do you have family in Mexico ? Elderly and Young? This administration made it easier for the elderly to receive pension benefits and more scholarships are being provided for students. Before you had to know someone that knows someone to at least get a good education.

@@GodFearingMan87 Yes, I live in Mexico with my family, and I have young and elderly family members in other cities in Mexico. And I don't agree with the Mexico's president giving money to everyone. My problem with giving every student money is that they give money regardless of how well someone does in school. The student who skips classes, fails many subjects, and doesn't make an effort to do well in school gets the same money as that student who makes an effort to do well in school. Giving money to every student equally is unfair for those who do good. I'm all for scholarships when they give them to those who do well in school, but the government shouldn't waste tax money giving scholarships to mediocre or bad students. What's the motivation for students to do well in school if they are gonna give the same money anyways to every student regardless of their school performance? And with the elderly pensions, my questions are, why didn't they plan their retirement if they had all their life to plan it? Or why don't their own families support them economically to not spend too much tax money on pensions?

In fact you have more Chinese and Indians crossing than 1 Mexican with a visa/passport. Also the Mexican peso is 20% stronger than a USA dollar. And to answer the question is ignorant. Lol, stop watching Fox News, my boy. The cartels don't run Mexico, that's just a lie you were told to justify the intervention in Mexico and the lack of action to end the problem of drug addiction in the US. In 2006 Calderón declared the war to the cartels and the only thing he accomplished is to make them stronger and more violent because the big cartels fractured and became new organizations, and those organizations started fighting for territory. Ending the cartels isn't easy without killing millions of innocent people and the violence will reach the US soil, that's for sure, therefore, ending the cartels by the force isn't the solution. Look at what happened in Afghanistan, after 20 years of fighting, the US army, the greatest military in the world was defeated by the talibans, and trust me, the cartels are way more powerful and better equipped than the talibans. The way to defeat the cartels is by ending the reasons why people join those organizations: poverty, lack of opportunities, ignorance, and ending the drug consumption because (and this is basic capitalism) as long as there is demand, there will always be supply. Before it was Colombia, now Mexico, in a few decades maybe Canada will be the supplier, or drugs will be cultivated and produced in the States, who knows.

Actually us asking them to handle immigration that moves through their country is not disrespectful… it’s asking them as the sovereign nation they are to handle their problems. But since it’s so corrupt and ran by factions, it’s these same factions that use immigration and loose border policy to gain. The US issue is the Dems want the Mexican vote and saw how effective it was as a talking point against Trump in 2020 and 2016. This is extremely interesting considering culturally and politically Mexican ideals usually fall into a conservative variety. The right hurt their own base. But this election should be different now that we saw how awful the Dems have been.

Too bad that's not Trump. Nothing like a 2 AM rager on Truth Social in all caps by Trump crying in disjointed topics. I take you you have never read Broke Don's transcripts of rallies or his "truths". A fourth grade English teacher commits suicide with every post because of the massacre of grammar.
