Oh how I miss Rundas. Wonderful cover.

The parasite queen bridge was unexpected, but the touch of horror brings some context to the more lamenting "dont make me hurt you!" Tone of rundas's theme. While the parasite queen didnt have anything to do with phazon or dark samus, the fear of corruption samus must be feeling as she sees her comrades falling prey to it comes thru in the bridge.

COULD. NOT. CLICK. FAST. ENOUGH. Just recently covered Prime 3 on my channel and talked about how crazy good this theme is. This cover was AMAZING. So epic yet so sad. Well done Lacey.

omg! This is great, you covered what's probably my favorite song in the entire Metroid series! I feel like the soundfont you used for the more twinkly melody bits could have used a bit more oomph similar to the original, but I can appreciate going for a sort of "icy" feel with them, and I wouldn't say it was a bad choice by any means. It's always great to hear your covers!

This version of the song feels like less your fighting a battle where your having to kill your fellow hunter, but more like your slowly freeing them of dark samus' control sort of undertale true pacifist asriel fight style

I'm more into heavier covers but this one literally gave me that Goosebumps chills. Love how you even dressed the part. Such a underrated rated theme with such emotion behind it. The nostalgia from this takes me back to 9th grade when I was genuinely happy 🥹 metroid hold a special place in my heart as Nintendos best story driven games. Yea you have so many Links and Mario's but only one Samus. Now that was something that made Metroid such a masterpiece
