Hey Everybody! I LOVE THIS SONG! I've been having so much fun covering the Guilty Gear Strive OST but this one was a new kind of challenge since this song hasn't been officially released yet so I had to learn everything entirely by ear which I haven't done in a while. The lyrics are (sometimes) questionable but the vibe and genre are so unbelievably fun I had a great time producing this track. Please enjoy! Not to be that guy, technically it's "my body is light", but the point obviously stands, not like the meaning of *the entire freaking song* rests on that one line lol

@@DatBisa There aren't any official lyrics yet actually, we won't know specific lyrics until the next album drops most likely. Tho imo "a lie" sounds more correct in that spot just from sound

@@KrissyBlues "a lie" doesn't really fit into the rhythmic structure of the melody though, you'd have to slur the words together into a single syllable. On top of that "my body is light" is imo more thematically appropriate, especially because it rolls over into the last line "I can feel the light, even after the sun goes down", which itself references "I hope my path will be a guide of light for someone to follow" in The Roar of the Spark, Ky's Theme.

@@DatBisa A lie is pretty equally thematically appropriate since the entirety of the song is about dysphoria and this part was the turning point where she says she's going to move past her dysphoria and recognize it for what it is tbf It's completely valid to see it the other way tho especially since we prolly wont have official lyrics until like may if we're lucky lol

Hey, this may seem like it comes out of nowhere, but I just want to say that your covers are a big inspiration for me. Before i was a guilty gear fan I always wanted to be a cool, rocker girl, and seeing people online gives me confidence that I can become that version of myself one day. I’m already taking steps to embody how I feel in real life- I’m going to start wearing skirts at school soon

Honestly, I think I prefer this over the OG. The groovy bassline from 0:24 onwards is so smooth, and overall the punkier sound fits better with GG's musical style 💙💗🤍💗💙
